A friend of mine passed away this week, and by her request had had this song sung to her a lot in the weeks before she left us. It was sang at her funeral Friday Feb 25th.
A friend of mine passed away this week, and by her request had had this song sung to her a lot in the weeks before she left us. It was sang at her funeral Friday Feb 25th.
I hope she has better flowers now. I'm more and more often wishing I could walk in that garden with her.
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. Thank you so much for posting it. Every time I hear it I can see my mother, in my mind, in the days before she passed. It brings tears but they're welcome tears ... God Bless You.
@muziklvr316 Jessica King quit performing for a while but she has recently started back singing. I saw her last Saturday night at a concert. She is truly a blessing.
If Heaven was a mile away...Yet, so close viewing with the eyes of the spirit. A wonderful song that makes you want to be where God gathers flowers right about now. I hope someday we'll get there.

I bought a cd of hers by accident and really enjoyed her music. I was getting myself all set up to be her fan and buy everything but that was all I could find. She is really unique. I enjoy her country flair.
I love this song. It reminds me of my grandma. She went home to be with the lord about ten years ago. I miss her a lot but I'm gonna see again real soon. Thank you and God bless.
hoover this song touches my heart so much...........remindes me of my momma and my sister barbara...they both have gone home to be with the LORD..but i know i'll be with them someday
thank you so much for sharing this song GOD BLESS YOU
This is some of Dottie Rambos Stellar Wrting abilities. You will never heard it done much better or at least this is my favorite version little more Country sound than Reba Rambos although no one Loved the Rambos better than me, Dottie Buck and Reba. RIP Dottie I Love You and hope to meet you some day on the other side, Thank You for this!!.
This song is one of the earliest memories I have. Our church song leader used to perform this on guitar and almost always burst into tears and couldn't finish...it was 3 years before I finally heard the entire song. Very vivid impact.
I heard this tonight for the 1st time, it made me cry, I would like to dedicate it to my dear friend Kathy, who just lost her Mother this past weekend to cancer.
God bless you, & all the others who have lost loved ones tonight.....
I love this song! Dottie was a great writer and she has a wonderful singer performing the song. I'm not familiar with this Jessica King, and can't find anything on her. Anyone know where I can find more music from her?
Thank You so Much for this, I had mixed emotions watching Dottie sing along not sure when this was done but this is one of my favorite gospel songs ever written,Dottie had a way of writing songs on a level like no one else, the girls done a splendid job on it, Again Thank You!!
I had forgotten about this song and fortunately I stumbled upon it tonight. The song reminds me of my grandmother. She loved flowers and she died in early March 10 years ago this year. I still miss her very much.
Does anyone know where I can find the lyrics to her songs. I have the CD but I'd much rather just print them out. My Garndma just passed away and we need some songs to sing in the funeral. If you find a website, please comment me back.
i just wanted to say wow!!!love it i sing it in church...and to my kids...it's a powerful song if your in the will of the lord...it's just a beautiful song..
I just found out about the death of Dottie Rambo...she was my favoirte songwriter and this is one of her prettiest songs. I know Dottie is with Jesus right now. Such a gifted writer who has kept many through the hard times...this is sung so beautiuful by three of my favorite singers....thank you for putting this on.
She's gone where angels sing- Earth's loss is heaven's gain, but we'll meet when God gathers flowers come spring... no prettier words ever written. We will meet again one day, Dottie. Thanks so much for the music you left to help us travel the long journey home.
Thanks for the video my Mom went home to be with Jesus March14 2008 I found the words to this song scribbled on a paper on her night stand...what a wonderful blessing to hear it. THANKS AGAIN JEAN

Thank you so much for adding this song. I have the Dottie Rambo collection, but never heard this one. My mother is in the final stages of liver cancer right now, and this song has helped me so much, it keeps my sorrow at bay, knowing my mother will be with Jesus, come spring! God Bless you for sharing!
I am blessed to know that you have peace within knowing that your wife is now home with our Lord. That's how I felt when I lost my mom to cancer two years comes April 15, which really fits this song (and a tribute)because mom died a day before Easter Sunday. I believe that she is now home with her Savior. Take care of yourself and keep the faith. GOD BLESS
I can relate to your feelings. My mom died of cancer last April 15, 2006 and it was a day before Easter and so this song fits perfect because she went to be with Jesus in Spring. I do miss her so dearly but I know that we'll see our loved ones someday in that great reunion! God Bless you!
