I wish they could do more tournaments like these in the US.

There was one in San Diego down here in California about two months after EXE 6 was released here, but I was not able to attend due to heavy traffic on the way there. T_T

All I remember is that only about 30 something people attended, and that two brothers won first and second prize (which was a limited edition DS of some sort, from what I remember).

Both were also TUS members, so you can imagine the amount of, um... Let's say... Political clout it gained among the various rival English EXE sites at the time.

I'm curious to the folders used since TUS is actually pretty awful when it comes to (at least) bn6 strategy. ._.; I live in California too so it's a bummer to have found out about that tournament; I didn't have a chance to play 6 until last year too. Oh well, at least I can play against people online.

If I remember correctly, one of the two brothers stated that they used some kind of modified sword folder loosely based off of one of the TUS sword folders.

I remember talking to one of my friends regarding this (my friend ran a site that was pretty much a sworn enemy of TUS).

He hated that the two brothers represented TUS, but he liked that at least he and his brother did not use the exact same folders from TUS like almost everyone else (or so one of the brothers claimed) used.

Man, it'd be great to get specifics on this ... I'll find it horribly depressing if people were using the folders from TUS since those really are awful; modified sword folder? Honestly I half expect those two brothers to have just had attack 5 and areagrabbed and spammed Slash Cross's charge, lol.
