Hello Derek, I am extremely touched by your posting. I to was in your situation for 23 years, until I found my father May 2010.I found him online from constantly googling his name and his last known location.Also check out spokeo.com. Constantly look on netwokring sites. I googled my dads name for the millionth time and I came across an obituary for a brother I had through him that had passed away, listed was my fathers name and I was able to contact a family member that connected me to him

I find my father when I was 19, he didn't tell his 10 other children about me until I was 35, out of all his children the majority of them are what I would say almost cruel in their attitudes to me. a few are saint like. it wasn't at all what I expected it to be. Can't imagine why brother won't communicate and help you with your goal.
