i'll love my parents for doing this.. filming my childhood.. it shows how they love and adore me.. how i was raised, that in turn made me a good person.. when things go bad in my life, i could just watch these videos all over again, and see that whatever happens, i have these parents who loved me.. it will bring joy to my heart., will then make me ready to face life again.. and when the time comes when it's my turn to be the parent, i could use these as a reference, raise my child the way i was

I love this little girl! I have been watching your vids for awhile now, catching up some here and there. I said to myself this morning "I need a little Nina". She cheers me right up when I'm having a bad day! She's so adorable and smart. I do the same thing with my niece, btw. Except when she's having a tantrum or a bad day, I tell her "Don't you dare laugh, whatever you do. Nope, I mean it! You better now!". She always does, and it ends the bad time. : ) Ahh, reverse psychology.

Yeah, I can speak Japanese alright, but for Nina's sake I have made it a rule to only use English with her, while her mother just uses Japanese. My Japanese speaking ability has probably gotten worse since I don't use it much anymore, but it's more important to us that Nina become completely comfortable in both languages at this important time in her life.

@geofg Man, Nina's lucky. At the time i was raised, my father left after being with my mom for like 10 years D:, so she was learning english, and no one was there to teach me spanish so, this summer, when i went to honduras, people were suprised like hell X.X

BTW. Ha ha. Random. We actually got a really good deal on that TV, at least for Japan. Usually they are at least 800 dollars, but we got it on sale and with a rebate that made it about 500. It's still a lot of money, but the country is switching to digital so we had to change. Is Mexico going to switch to digital broadcasting too, like Japan and the U.S.?
