Gen 1 = Probably NIDOKING. Great move pool and physical attack.

Gen 2 = LANTURN. Great HP and Stats

Gen 3 = Swampert. Great HP and Stats

Gen 4 = Palkia. Great legendary, you should use it on your team if you don't have a water type.

Gen 5 = Samurott. Balanced stats, I recommend you use it (I chose Emboar though)

Meh, I'm 22 and I'm still a fan myself. (As if the name doesn't make it obvious) There's lots of adults out there who really like 'kid things' still. There's adults who love rainbow bright, Sonic, and even older cartoons that when I was younger were considered 'retro'.

My absolute favorite Pokemon of all time is Cubone. Get this, the first Pokemon toy I ever got was Cubone, the first Pokemon episode I ever saw was starring Cubone, and if you add up the digits in my birthday (2/11/91), it equals 104 which is Cubone's number. Kinda freaky huh?

@Zarnirox Collosium has the right idea with teh 'shadow pokemon' but they could really go further with it if they wanted to. Pokemon has potential, and yeah, it's for kids and everything, but I can see it going places if they upped the ratings a bit. And I'm not talking cheesy violence or anything, I'm talking serious, better storyline.

That is freaky, with the whole cubone thing. My fav. used to be Ninetails, but it switched to teh 'cune the second I saw it's picture.

But that's the thing, it's not really just for kids anymore. Its made an impact on so many people's lives, and they kept it with them as they've grown older. Now if you're taking about the show then yeah, that's kinda dead and done with, it dug its own grave; but the "idea" of Pokemon is still something we keep strong, and that's not going to die any time soon.

Yeah, mostly the artist in me was talking earlier. I've seen so many immensely detailed drawings and paintings of Pokemon. It's crazy to think exactly how much of an impact this all made when you step back once and a while and look at it all.
