It just doesnt work for me...Idk if its the urban decay eyesahdows since so many of them have shimmer but I even once tried using it for concealer and WOW worst idea EVER lol
I love this video and favourite placed it! I love the 226 because I have small eyes (part American Indian) so this is the perfect crease brush for me. I bought three of them, but I agree. I hope they make it permanent! Thank you so much for this super informative video! Making my wishlist out now! :) I need a fan brush to brush away fallout sooo badly! :)
It's okay. I think I probably shouldn't have written "PUSH" like that. So I cab understand why it would come off as bitchy, I'm sorry. I took a class with MUA Reggie Wells and he was just telling us all the proper names of brushes. <3
They are lesser quality because they're not hand-made like the regular brushes are. I've seen some of their brush sets that are good, but in general, the quality lacks. It's still a great deal though
Great video, Lauren!Great tip about not using the 224 to place color but to blend it. I never thought of that and that is why I preferred the 217 to apply and blend. Can I ask what brush you use to place the color (say, in the crease or the outer-V) before you blend with the 224? TIA!

It's been working fine for me, but then again I don't have something better. I don't have the 224, I guess I'd better go get one.
I use the 217 to apply my mac prep prime powder after I applied my concealer, I find that it applies the perfect amount of powder and it's fast and easy. That's the only use I found for this brush so far. I tried many times to use as a blending brush, now that I watched this video I feel so relieved haha. Because I thought it was a great brush and I was doing it wrong, since everybody says it's the best for blending. Im glad to know that it's not haha.
FINALLY somebody that agrees with me. I NEVER undestood why so many people use the 217 for blending. I tried to use it a few days ago to blend my eyeshadow and it look so messy, like it blends uneven and you spend a lot of time blending for nothing, i dont get it. I ended up washing my face and starting again. Great video. What would you consider a perfect brush for blending eyeshadow (mac and sigma) oh and btw I have small eyelids. Thanks for the video.

also, what are your thoughts on the MAC brush giftsets? do you think they're quality is worse or the same as the regular line brushes ?
