- regarding what Mr. MacDiarmid would have hated ... perhaps he wouldn't have approved of the visual blight of the wind generators on the countryside, yet may have approved of a movement toward energy independence - who am I to say what he would or would not have hated? What is clear is that he did love the harebells, the bog myrtle and the little black face sheep.
I realize the "literal close ups" are not spectacular, but I think they make a point in their own small way about not judging the impact of anything by its size whether it be a sentient being or a country.
More Scottish landscapes and less literal close ups of spiders and flowers would have been welcome and how about putting the credits at the end of the video rather than the beginning?
And how can you even show those ugly wind fans that MacDiarmid would have hated?
