Ugh, sometimes the weirdest part of being a doggiedaddy (not a biological term, I hasten to add) is that I never have the bathroom to myself.

My canine fur shark seems to believe I need comfort and attention whilst sitting on the toilet. She sits in her tub (the bathtub for us) and holds my hand and licks my ear during the entire process. Of course, she can't tolerate being locked out of the bathroom. No way. She's an expert large primate rangler.

We had a calico cat too but she moved to our neighbours.. her name is Cari. She has "goth make up", black eye linings and lips! (All black mouth even.)

Dude, I've had that before with cats. One day, there I was, sitting on the toilet doing my business, when suddenly, a cat comes through the open window. So now, with a cat in the bathroom with me, I just watch as I continue with my business... only to be disrupted by having the cat start to rub against my legs... continuously.

More recently, one of my parent's cats has started taking to taking pisses down the plughole for the bidet whenever my mum goes to the loo. Following by example maybe?

Sounds like my recently deceased cat, Squirt down to a strange desire for bathroom interaction with my dad (she'd climb into his lowered boxers). She was raised by her mother undomesticated, as a professional beggar. That sort of behavior is usually affected by how much human contact they got in their early life. Squirt saw humans mostly as a food source.

All the other cats in my life were born among humans, so they very much craved human attention and affection.

It's weird, a lot of cats like being in the bathroom with their people when they're doing their bueiness. I guess cats see that as social time?
