@robert779 I'm married and my wife is like me. HATES DEBT and we barely go out. We find ways of educating ourselves the fun way without spending a penny.
@hollymatterson She needs to go to Toronto city hall and every government organization in Europe and North America. BUT, Unions oppose any change. They will do everything to milk the system until the system is BANKRUPT.
@ultimate133 who buys clothes every week anyway? if you are a shopaholic believe me you should not be shopping for at least 3mos.think about it , she probably has clothes with tags still hanging on them..
This show bothers me. People who make exhorbitant amounts of money (especially for how intellectually devoid they are) and they end up in debt. Then they get on TV and get free crap for learning how to live within their means (like the rest of us). I hate this show.
best show ever,i watch it all the time to steer me away from shopping extravagantly. I still need to work on my budget but i know that im not 40,000 in debt!!!!
Can you have us as a couple in upcoming shows. My husband and I are newlyweds and I want to save our marriage and help us learn together to budget and overcome debt.
wtf?? who goes on vacation every month?? that is so dumb. he only makes 21k and goes out every night with pals like he's donald Trump?? That guy is so selfish.. why not spend some time with your wife ?? or get a part time job retailing??
He is definitely irresponsible and living out of his means, but it's rather sexist/feminist to only accuse him of not bringing in more money while she's out shopping all day and parking her drumptruck ass on the couch all night watching tv
She mentions that 1800 is half of their income. So if he's making 2,100/month....his wife is earning at least 1,500/month. Just thought I'd point that out. She only claims he doens't earn enough because he spends significantly more than her in relationship to individual income. If he wants to support those habits, he needs to increase his pay.
I`m guessing that if we could watch the whole show, we would see that she does work....
Do the math. Gail says they spend 68% of their income or $2500.00 on `life/ non-essentials.' His income per month is only $1750.00. They must be getting the extra $750 for non-essentials somewhere... not to mention housing, groceries, transportation, etc. Just a thought.
this is exactly why not to commit to a relationship before enjoying your life.

Hockey is like the most fun sport to play. His wife is cute though. I'd stay home with her until I got bored, then maybe play hockey.

Spoiled kids that born in a first world country and know that government will cover their ass any time.
They should be sent to a third would country to see how people live with a fraction of what any one in Canada makes on any job
