I am glad he's okay, and the scumbag got his just due. Keep in mind, this is why everyone needs more than 1 home defense weapon. The cops will take the weapon involved as evidence, leaving you undefended until you are cleared and your weapon is returned.

Exactly, here in cali the poor old man woulda been thrown in cuffs like he was one of the criminals, then found guilty for murder and thrown in prison. In cali you dont have the right to protect your property by using arms.
