Winnipeg - MacDonald Shoe Store commercial (1991)

The store lasted until the early 90's, but the wonderful mural still remains. They have painted over the text though. I hope they never get rid of the building! In the mid 90's it became an aromatherapy/spa store. I had a mud bath there! Yes folks, I had a mud bath at MacDonald's shoes in what was probably the stock room. Weird.

I always went there for dress shoes. Loved the decor in that store.

It would be nice if the CBC HQ allowed the local stations to sell local ad space again.

Actually, they still have local advertising, especially on Hockey Night in Canada.
