Awesome emac, they're great machines, but I got a bit more lucky than you. I found a 1.25ghz Power-PC emac, the guy had installed 2gb of ram in it with leopard (10.5.8) also installed, 80gb disc drive and the only thing missing was a keyboard and mouse which I had anyway. The best part? I found it on council cleanup.
pretty nice how the eMac's Harman Kardon speakers act up like this(eMacs with 1GHz and below have Harman Kardon speakers, the rest have Apple's own speakers), but my used iBook G4 1.33 GHz bought of eBay for $100 destroyed that great song blarring out of those speakers. And about that argument that happened 1 year ago in your vid, FYI i am only 13 yrs old so i support you and screw that rich ass.
@menezesjr861, I would try to reinstall the operating system and if that doesn't work a new hard drive might do the trick. tell me if my advice was any help

I had the privilege of working on one of these (i'm a computer technician) and $5 should of been the price at launch! What utter rubbish. Steve jobs basically raped the wallets of anyone silly enough to buy one of these back in day!

i have a eMac 1 GHz too. I'm running 10.4.11 and youtube videos are having trouble playing. they skip and load slow. it was never like Proxy-Connection: keep-alive

The eMac is a pretty good computer, with more than enough power for iTunes, iWorks and even Leopard and Youtube if you stick $50 worth of RAM into it. $5 is an amazing price for an eMac. Apple says the 2004 also has a max of 1gb but that is not true and it will accept 2 gb.
