since when has the crankshaft been the driver shaft? the crank is always the driven...

what i'm saying is that on the video, the motor is powering the crankshaft, which is then powering the piston. On a conventional 2 stroke engine, the piston is actually powering the crankshaft, not like this video where the crankshaft is powering the piston.

Nice job; an engineer in the making! I used to be a k'nex fan, but at 15, I've forgotten how to enjoy it. However, making something like this or the gun on your other video is an attractive idea. Lol, you sound like a typical Cochney kid like I was (and still am!).

more often that not the air/fuel will come from the crank case. as aposed to your direct to carb setup, there for the engine will not be suffiently lubricated causing seizing,never the less great job/!
