Not mine. My old tomcat always greeted me by waiting at the door, then dropped by the carpet expecting some cuddling. Even if I gave him food, ignoring him was the worst thing for him.

After I moved out of my parents' place, his health went down the drain. He died within one year :(

Well, my cat is very much like a dog.. Last month I was gone for few days (during that time she didn't play at all and ate very little), and when I came home she instantly started playing and eating like normal. :) And the next couple of days she followed me all the time, making sure I wouldn't go away again. :)

@UncleBobIsAngry Hahaha, made me laugh but my cat doesn't do that. I left once for 2 weeks on a college trip and when I got home, my cat wouldn't leave my side. He even slept with me for a week until my sis kicked him out!

@UncleBobIsAngry cats do remember people and they care, but cats don't show it like dogs.

Cats are moody and if you leave them alone for certain periods of time they get mad. (just like humans)
