This is before the border dispute in Preah Vihear right? As I always said, there are a lot of good hearts people in Thailand too that looking at Cambodians people as fellow Buddhist , as a good neighbor. This is nice. I have always wonder why the Thai soldiers treated Khmer badly in the 80's at the refugee camps. Aren't they Buddhists, I asked myself? Where is their kindness? I think Thai people are good people, but the soldiers are bad. They like to shoot unarm khmer who cross the border.
because were (khmer) we're not supposed to cross into their home. would you just let anyone into your home, arm or not arm? again, how would Thai know that khmer were not arm... you never know.

Thai soldiers knew Khmers were unarmed because refugees were crossing to Thailand to escape the Khmer Rouge persecution.
