In the beginning, there are fish skeletons. Perhaps eating the fish to stay alive. But when life is almost over, there is no need for fish as food. Take only what you need to survive, don't waste a life. The fish gave their lives for hers. Now she gives her life for theirs. The large person didn't have a mouth, didn't need to eat. "When is the rain fall?" words on wall??? Maybe waiting for the rain to fill the pool to set the fish free.

She couldn't live bearing in her mind she had left her son, who sacrificed himself to save her, locked up down there, so she took her own life, by drowning herself. The fish were maybe a last fullfilling wish, maybe even the culmination of their breakout. Now the common sense, that one it's up to yourselves. That's how I look at it. By far one of the best works I've seen around here, and the sound mixing is just perfect.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. Just wanted to clarify...William Bate is the creator of this amazing animation--the story and everything you see. Dave Bihldorff was the sound designer. (but he can't answer any questions about the story...sorry!)
