Hi Cian. It was an RPSI (Railway Preservation Society of Ireland) rail tour run in association with the Dundalk 150 celebration. One train ran from Connolly to Dundalk & another from Belfast to Dundalk. Unfortunately (for some (and not for others!) NIRs 112 had to substitute for failed steam loco No.4.
i love the rpsi , oh and i heard of the 150 celebrations to dundalk a while back , but i never knew No . 4 failed on the day !

Fantastic. Nostalgia for those who remember the days of steam!
