You're not really building anything, you just bought an internal drive and placed it into an enclosure. You should rename the video "How to buy an internal DVD burner and install it into an enclosure."
he says "Im assuming you have an ATA/IDE burner" or w/e he says - along those lines.
be careful. he means he is assuming you have a flat 'ribbon' cable connector, not the newer 'SATA' connectors (thinner)
may i just add to you (video maker) both SATA and PATA (commonly called ATA or IDE) are BOTH IDE devices. one stands for Serial ATA the other for Parallel ATA (Serial is better - more reliable and faster)
So he just made internal burner into external one??? that is amazing man i wanted to know how to do dat.... thanks man!!!... (just change ur title of the video)
Contrast isn't all it could be, true. But I've found it to be very readable. Stay away from the fancy graphics templates and stick to straight text for best results.

please your head isn´t important for me, no in nesesary your fuking face, speak and show the metodology, sorry my english is bad, but i now, you understend me. ok se you an tanks for this instrutive video.
Hey, I have the same enclosure as you. Does you green light on the bottom flash red along with green? I connected everything correctly and am wondering if this is just the way the enclosure tell you it is both running and reading the cd.
Excelent and instrutive. With a litle more prod. value, could be in any network. Try using the new adobe production suite cs3. It comes with two goodies:
a software that transforms any computer in to a full portable video recording rack,(it´s call "onlocation") and a chromakey/virtualstudio software that puts you in a TV set like magic.(this one is call "ultra")
visit the adobe page for mor info. Keep making this videos. I really enjoy them..

To note, even in 2008, only a minority of people have FIREWIRE capabilities. USB is still the safest way to go.

Thank you.
The quality isn't where I'd like it to be. My iSight firewire webcam is excellent for video conferencing. Not so good as a camcorder replacement.
You'll be seeing some improved stuff shortly.
