The moment that I most liked in this game was when you started a Foundry run and "Not The Same" came out. That's an awesome song, awesome level and awesome game.
i miss this game, i wanna get it again. the only problem of the 1st 3 tony hawk games is that the music is looped, because it doesn't run on a rumble pak/cartrage, so it kept playing the same 2 or 3 parts over and over, but that's ok. it plays the whole song in the ps1 version
i thought this was helpful, thank you, because like everyone else, I can appreciate the N64 for all its glory. People can hate all they want but at least I'm not spending 60 dollars on a another first person shooter game.
I (Gary) would also like to say that from personal experience, emulating the N64 is easier than emulating more complex systems like the Gamecube or any Playstation system.
@BethlehemBrothersLPs but you dont need to emulate if you buy a capture card, AKA what anyone who remotely cared about preserving the original gameplay would do...
@Lomeldras Im assuming your gary's account? because in that case heres a website for you: ebay. HAY LOOK GUYZ DERS LIKE NINTENDO 64S FOR LIKE THE SAME PRICE AS ANY NEW GAME OUT NOW!!! LOLCATS THERES LIKE OVER 9000 OF THEM ROFLMAO!
@thecombinearecoming No, my (Gary) account is this one. Now quit acting like you are, if you really truly despise that Mike's playing the N64 version rather than the Gamecube or Playstation version, then you can watch something else rather than sitting around here complaining about every little thing and trying to get us to invest into buying a Playstation when our current method works perfectly well for all of our other viewers.
@BethlehemBrothersLPs well, i come here looking for a run through, and i find this trash that makes me want to puke on my computer screen. What else was i supposed to do?
@BethlehemBrothersLPs thanks. I had to make up a name on the spot so i could comment on this before someone else does (lol :P), and since i think thps3 has got to be in at least my top 3 games of the tony hawk series, i just made it my name
wow the n64 version is gay lol. They make everything so kid-friendly, just look at the big text in the first menu and the horrible loading time as you switch between characters. This game is amazing but I also cant even imagine playing it on the horrible mess that is the n64 controller. I mean, you have 3 places to hold on to it. 3! How many hands does the (normal) human have? 2. Explain that to me.
@thecombinearecoming and that doesnt even take into account the graphics, the playstation 2's online mode, the tutorial in the game cluttering the screen, and the fact that they changed the maps to be easier. Sure it may be more user friendly, but is it really? the xbox version has a seperate tutorial that is narrated by tony himself, and the playstation had online, so even playing the n64 version is an offense.
@thecombinearecoming the reason i am playing the n64 version is because i dont have access to the PS2 or Xbox versions. I bought a gamecube copy, and it freezes when i try to save it.
@Electrifiable still doesnt make up for it but i guess that makes it a BIT more acceptable... But still, most people who own this game play the ps2, xbox, or gamecube versions, so your not going to get many views.
@thecombinearecoming This video has been successful compared to most videos on this channel. The last level in the game was also exclusive to PS1 and N64, so it's a little bit more unique.
