I watched this movie along with a couple of friends, including a ten year old. We didn't really know what to expect when we started it, but I think we were all changed in one way or another by it...

I had control of the remote and had to pause this movie a good number of times to stop and clear my head. Nobody complained when I did, we all just exchanged uneasy glances.

As a whole, this movie is not bad. However, the things done in it are horrible. Deffinitely not for the faint of heart.

Apprently when Jack Ketcham was writing the book he had a really hard time with walking that thin line between too much and too little. According to Horrorhound he went on the set when they were filming and kind of strated crying because it freaked him out so much.

I have never cried so much in my life, near the end is where it got the worst. The torch scene was the most horrifying thing i have ever seen, how could someone do that to a sweet innocent girl let only punish her little sister to. This is worse than hostel, and saw. You should watch "cargo 200" if you want to watch something really fucked up (also a true story) There is a girl tied to a bad and her boyfriend (who's body has just arrived from war) is layid beside her by a crazy fuck policeman. He than brings some drankard to rape the girl and then kills him too ... and they all lay beside the girl ... flies are everywhere ... and the policeman is reading love letters of the girl's dead boyfried to her while she is cuffed to the bad with two dead bodies.

I read the book & am just gonna watch the movie even I a fan of the hardcore horror cringed @ this book & the fact it was inspired by true events but it was a good book however about the ending in the book I wish the aunt didn't get such an easy death considering all the pain she inflicted on the girls
