no one needs to copy western domacracy or western capitalist becouse is failure system which even need, re'examine the system they use.whats wrong their system why they fail there's in question western world soceity, they are more serious than chinese stability.
@fypong 1) "Peaceful superpower" is an oxymoron. Is America the current superpower peaceful? The wars in Afganistan, Iraq, and possibly very soon Iran would contradict with this image.
2) This guy does make some valid points, but he fails to paint the whole picture. I'm no economist, but I do know the ecomomy is always flactuating, and how you respond to certain crisis affects the direction your economy takes. That's why making blatant predictions is inaccurate. But some will buy his BS
This lunatic is the Harold Camping of China. He already revised his China collapse prediction to 2012. I predict that he will predict the coming collapse of China in 2013, then 2014, then 2015, etc. If he's smart he will give himself 10 years so he will only be wrong once every 10 years instead of once every year. hahahahahahahahaha
they predicted china failed every single yrs for the past 30 yrs, yet china has on average 10% gdp growth ea yr,this retard just try to make some money in western media by talking down on china.NEWER UNDERESTIMATE THE DRAGON!
@TheDualEconomist Yep just keep on revising it. I bet those "world will end in 2012" people will be revising their predictions too when it doesn't happen. This must be the new trend, that fortune tellers can extend their prediction dates. If I predicted the fall of Britain's empire in like 1490, would that have been considered prophetic? If China falls apart in 2112, instead of 2012, will we point at Gordon Chang and call him a fortune teller?
@TheDualEconomist Let me make a prediction as well. Gordon Chang will revise the coming collapse of China to 2013, then 2014, then 2015, etc. If he is smart, he will give himself 10 years so he will only be wrong once every 10 years instead of once every year.
@fypong Molyneux predicts revolution before the end of 2011. We will see how well he understands the Chinese temperament. Molyneux is right about social unrest in China, what he seems to ignore is the fact that the Chinese government is proactively responding to these conditions, especially by increasing wages and workplace regulation. There will be no revolution. Molyneux is wrong.
@ironicdialogue The increase in wages is less than inflation (i.e. they are getting poorer) and the regulations make profit smaller, therefore, contributing more to bankruptcy.
@BeethovenWannabe Singapore is a city-state not a country just like Hong-Kong. If it were to compete with Nations then the outcome would be different.
money is not gonna die. US dollar is going to go up in the next coming crisis.
u libertarian tards don't even understand your own theories. you act like u know how the money system and feds work, but you don't. you are going to get people hurt by brainwashing them into buying gold. u need to watch this: watch?v=UKXGsKNCVVc
@ironicdialogue So you have a better idea of philosophy and politics than Stefan Molyneux? Why don't you enlighten, edify and illuminate us all with your ideologies?
@VoxJoxx I never claimed to "have a better idea of philosophy and politics than Stefan Molyneux". I said his thesis that a revolution will erupt in China in 2011. We are seeing a couple interesting trends in China. One is increased activism on the part of the citizenry, especially with regard to working conditions and wages. The other is increasing government regulation of the workplace, especially the rapid increase in wages for laborers. Unlike the US, China is responding to its crisis.
@ironicdialogue Gordon Chang does not understand the Chinese people because he is not Chinese. He has never lived in China or any Chinese communities in or out of China. He does not speak, read or write Chinese. He has no Chinese friend or associate. He does NOT have any personal or direct experience with China or Chinese in anyway. The only thing he has is a lot of personal negative bias and opinion about China *and* Chinese, which he has made obvious in the past decade.
what he wrote and had said.... he did not live in China and certianly his view is not true at all. I have many who have same view as he has, but learn CCP's view you have to watch this video first:
no one needs to copy western domacracy or western capitalist becouse is failure system which even need, re'examine the system they use.whats wrong their system why they fail there's in question western world soceity, they are more serious than chinese stability.

Either way, social unrest ensues.

Proof that Chang's thesis is BS:
1. Singapore is the most economically free country in the world.
2. Singapore has a single party political system.

The one party state is actually better. Democratization would be bad and probably send them back towards socialization.
