  • I feel bad for Carter, he obviously just wasn't cut out for the job. I mean he was a peanut farmer long before politics, and didn't have much political background. If he just had more political experience, and confidence, he would have been a good president, but sadly, his term was a failure. But I'm sure he was a good person, and I would love to meet him.

  • As bad as Carter was, Bush 43 was worse.

  • Fuck president Carter, from an Iranian. Fuck cater, fuck the bbc, and fuck and scum who support him.

  • A president that didnt do anything and wasnt for war???

    wtf guys worst president ever.

No seriously Carter was a bad ass and I would love to shake his hand

  • 1:08

  • at least carter was against warmongering

  • Jimmy Carter is tied with Obama and FDR as the worst President in American history.

  • @Tsugua21

FDR was one of the best presidents we have ever had wtf are you talking about,,,

  • Ugh.

  • The only reason the video 68 thousand views is cause ppl wanted to hear how the guy really said president carter from "predent carter" lol.. least thats why im watching it.. ALL HAIL WEZZY.. CALL IT BAD WEATHER!

  • I president carter president carter president carter

  • Fuck Lil Wayne, I came here to view historic gold.

  • Is there a reason as to why modern Democratic presidents are, in general, better orators than their Republican counterparts?

  • @3rkid2 Because Democrats care more about public speaking and Republicans care more about fixing the economy and reducing government spending.

  • @Tsugua21

Yeah, the Republicans in the House sure have a funny way of doing just that.

Republicans can't speak nor legislate for shit.

  • like if u came here cuz u listened to president carter by lil wayne to many times and got bored so then u searched this up

  • PRESIDENT CARTERRR PR PRESIDENT CARTER

  • jimmy carter is the 2nd worst president in american history Obama is the 1st,

    Obama 1st, Carter 2nd, F.D.R 3rd, L.B.J 4th, Wilson 5th, Clinton 6th, Truman 7th

    the greatest president in american history is: 1st Washington&Reagan, 2nd Lincoln, 3rd Coolidge&Jefferson, 4th Madison, 5th Monroe

  • @PatriotConservative1 LOL obama is not the worst although he isnt great. Bush II was terrible, then carter, FDR was amazing and clinton was too. Idk wtf ur talking about. But i agree i dont like obama and i wasnt alive for lbj but i heard he was terrible

  • @jarcanman yeah obama kinda sucks

  • @PatriotConservative1 ur a faggot what about bush jr dumbass

  • @PatriotConservative1 George W. Bush is the worst president ever. 2.) Hoover 3.) Reagan.

  • @PatriotConservative1 prretty sure frd was like one of the greatest presidents ever....lol you just hate him cause hes a democrat. wow

  • @PatriotConservative1 got "best" and "worst" switched there buddy.

  • @PatriotConservative1 I notice that all your "bad" presidents happen to be democrats, while your "good" presidents happen to be either Republican, or not Democratic.

  • WEezy!

  • @BP1027 I fucking knew someone would say this!

  • @DocLeonardBonesMcCoy Iran is Dangeous for the world peace with their neclaur programs it's not only in America that's concerned about the mullahs in Teheran we are also concerned here in Denmark

  • @semiretired86 poor u

  • I met President Carter two days ago. Even though im a republican, he has good moral values and is a great humanatrainian.

  • Carter ****** up in Iran when the mullahs took power one of the reasons he nearly was destroyed in the 1980 election

  • @semiretired86 Really Iran? Why are so many Americans obsessed with that country? Leave them alone and stay out of the Middle East and the rest of the world for that fact!

  • this is so fake

  • What a wasted 4 years that turned out to be except for the iranians .This inept generic man let alone president pushed the united states back ten years with his policies and showed the world we were nomore the strong country that kicked the butts of the nazis and the japs. he let a bunch of students from iran led by a crazed ayatollah disgrace us in front of the world while this dumb ass smiled and talked softly waving a paper stick.

  • America's biggest mistake = jimmy carter

  • Obama's mentor.

  • What a ridiculous man. He abandoned the Shah!

Thanks to him, the Mullahs are running Iran!

Jimmy Carter is responsible for extremist Islam. So much of what is wrong with the world is Jimmy Carter's fault. Jimmy Carter ruined the fucking planet!

    I HATE Jimmy Carter!

    He should be destroyed!

  • Carter thanking Ford for his work after Watergate was a very gracias act. Carter's presidency may have been less than a succes but as a man he is one of our best, most humane presidents.

  • Jimmy Carter was a great president---before Clinton, the last president to balance the budget. Carter was a victim of the vitriol-spewing Republican machine and the media which they commandeered. We can't blame the Republicans completely, though, because as stupid Democrats tend to do they could not stand by their president. I love Ted Kennedy but Ted Kennedy is another huge reason why Carter was not reeleccted. Reagan was a damn scumbag who cheated his way into office by secret deals with Iran

  • @JamalDOA AMEN

  • jimmy carter plain out stunk. theres no way around it. he almost destroyed our country. GOD bless ronald reagan!

  • @BillyBlues34 Even if that is the case,at the end of the day,Carter would have never funded bin Laden,Carter would have not funded Contra fighters and Carter would have made decision based on morality, not popularity

  • @BillyBlues34 At least Carter doesn't have Alzheimer's and is craping all over himself(like "ronnie" was) GOD BLESS JIMMY CARTER!

  • I swear, he's Mr. Rogers in another life

  • I think that Carter receives a bad rap when he really shouldn't. A lot of the things that people criticize him for were more the fault of bad luck and circumstance than his own mistakes. I think that if he was President during a different time span, like Clinton's time or something, he would have been much more liked.

He was far from perfect, but yeah.

  • Good man, bad President

  • A moral and humble President. How rare is that?

  • he looks weak, i mean weak in voice and hence in ambitions

  • Probably the worst president ever. He's an even worse person

  • @MUHerd37 Carter is a good man. He was just a crappy President.

  • we need more president like gerald ford and jimmy carter because they cared more about doing what was right then what was popular

  • Clearly one of the most underrated presidents ever (if not the most).

  • Carter was a commie. no doubt about it

  • 20 people are justin bieber fans

  • Zionist media hates Jimmy Carter and calls him weak. Ironically he negotiated peace for Israel. Zionists don't want peace. They MISTAKE kindness for weakness and thrive on hate and war.

I keep seeing youtube videos of these same members of the zionist media getting slapped around by citizens of a country which Mr. Carter had made peace with.

The media calls Mr. Carter a weak man. Well...that same media looks pretty weak to me right now ....

  • Carter a good decent man.....Bush clan.........The opposite totally.....Amen..!

  • Carter proves that you can't do the right things and be popular. Carter was blamed for all of Reagan's fuck ups, end of story. History has treated Carter like shit.

  • I love Jimmy Carter, he's a very noble man. My favorite part of this is at the beginning where he says thank you to Ford.

  • 2:04 I'm having a heart attack.

  • Everyone needs to learn that 9/11 was the American regime nuking its own largest city, and it created the China Syndrome which then poisoned thousands of responders and millions of NY residents.

    Google "9/11 Cancers"

  • Yea I loved the high inflation and17% intrest rates and being demoralized by the Islamic sycos in iran. great guy!!

  • President Carter got the peace prize too. You know Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize twelve days after taking office. Upon acceptance of winning it, Obama was praised by the committee, "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy". . They also gave the peace prize to Yasser Arafat, the leader of the PLO, the best known terrorist organization on the globe. This is like giving it to David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

  • Whew, Good thing Reagan stepped in and undid all of Carter's work, plunging us into debt and setting up recent events to save some corporate bucks. Close save.

  • @dependantlividity Reagan plunged us into more debt. The debt went from $900 billion when Carter left office in '81 to over $2.6 trillion when the "B-Actor" left in '89. Carter actually lowered the debt as a percentage of our GDP. Reagan=Dumbass.

  • @mr19932001 I was speaking ironically

  • @dependantlividity Oh, okay my mistake. It just bothers the hell out of me when people paint Reagan out as a bigger than Jesus"fiscal conservative."

  • One less appreciated fact is that this is the first presidential speech where human right was mentioned.

This trigger a great interest in human rights. In that year (1977) Human rights advocate Amnesty International won Nobel Peace prize

  • Anti-Semite

  • annoying faker

  • In 1977 I watched this at my fourth grade teachers house. she took the whole class to view the inaguration at her house witch was just a short walk from our grade school. she also did the same thing so we could see the space shuttle do (piggy back) tests.this was when the space shuttle was mounted on the back of a 747. thanks Mrs. Klopp

what a great thing to do for her students, she knew these were great historic events and was wise enough to give us the opportunity to witness them.

  • @RemoWest lmao now you cant do that bc theres so many fucking pervvs and murderers out there :/

  • wow, rosalynn carter was definately the most beautiful First Lady ever, way better than Nancy Reagan,. Mrs Carter knew what a great man he was

  • if he had had 4 more years in office his policies would have sent the US into a golden age and we would all have free health care, none of us would even need to work...and we would all be living in a utopian world.

Instead that mean 'ole reagan got in.

  • @okrabay Are you that brainwashed or are you just stupid????

  • @okrabay Dude, keep living in a dream!

  • @okrabay: With four more years of Jimmy Carter as president, we still would have needed to get rid of the majority of corrupt members of Congress. Then, we could have started a golden age of fairness to the middle class with healthcare for all Americans, a weaning off our dependancy on oil, a resurgence in innovation in alternative fuels, transparency on Wall St., public financing of elections, our airwaves, moral laws on lobbying and more. Holy shit! We'd still have a democracy! Unbelievable!

  • @okrabay Agreed. a lot of the problems that the United States faces today all started with Reagan.

  • @okrabay words cannot begin to describe how much that makes no sense...

  • Jimmy Carter just wasn't an anti-communism obsessed demagogue, which is I guess why he rates poorly among many Americans.

  • Carter was not even the worst president ever of his party, or even the last half century. He wasn't the greatest, but he was better than many believe.

  • Jimmy Carter = FAIL

  • The worst President in the last 50 years.

  • @djphillyb Are you kidding me?

Were you born in the 80s?

  • @djphillyb nah, bush jr takes the cake. carter did suck epically though

  • @djphillyb What about George W. Bush? Twon unjust wars, worst economic crisis since the great depression, torture, robbing the American people their right to privacy without a warrent, gas at over $4 a gallon in '08. Hell, Reagan still holds the record of having the highest unemployment rate of the last 50 years, which was 10% in 1982-early 1983, and I think Obama has only been a watered down version of GW. Jimmy Carter is god compared to these 3.

  • @mr19932001 What about Bill Clinton? Clinton and the Democrats pushed for the Community Recovery Act which pushed for more home loans for the poor who couldn't pay them back, which caused the banks to become bankrupt. Clinton himself put a man from his own cabinet to head up Fannie Mae, and it went bankrupt, which caused the current global recession/housing crisis, all because Democrats felt that people are entitled to home ownership regardless of their ability to pay back their home loans!

  • @mr19932001 Also, while we are talking about the Iraq war, Bill Clinton himself bombed Iraq during his Impeachment because he wanted to distract the public away from his Impeachment Trial. Clinton himself believed the Saddam Hussein had Weapons of Mass Destruction. Clinton also sent troops into Somalia and when that went badly, Clinton was forced to fire his secretary of defense, Les Aspin in 1993. Oh, and Clinton left office with a recession for Bush to handle in 2000.

  • @mr19932001 Jimmy Carter left office with one of the lowest approval ratings in U.S. History, (only 26%) he lost over two thirds of the states in 1980, and Reagan has by far the biggest re-election landslide reelection victory in 1984, winning every single state except for Minnesota. That is the biggest landslide electoral college victory since F.D.R!

  • @djphillyb and George W. isn't? atleast Carter told the truth.

  • Major asshole

    Major fucking asshole

  • I think President Carter was a good and moral man and I believe he had good intentions when he became president in 1977 but good intentions don't always make an effective leader and he pretty well showed that.

  • I'm a Conservative and I don't think Carter was a good President, but he was a good Christian man and for that he deserves respect.

  • I can tell Carter had a hard time speaking. That must have been tough for him. But this is a cool speech!

  • Peanut Eater

  • Compare this speech to Reagan's First Inaugural. Carter sounds like a toddler in comparison. Carter was such a bonehead leftist.

  • Delusional and senile even back then, this terrorist sympathizer and befriender of despots and dictators was one of the worst Presidents in modern times. Good thing the Soviets didn’t know what a feeble bleeding heart fool Jimmy was or the Cold War would have been lost.

  • the last great president. praying president Obama gets the chance to be better.

  • @jimrotharmel He could instantly solve all his problems, and ours too, bt simply resigning.

  • A very humble man, and a good man.

  • @juicearibe Horribly arrogant and a terrible leader as well.

  • WORST OF ALL TIME!!!

but ya know what, hes gonna move the second worst after obama!!!

  • ford would of got re-elected if it wasn't for nixon

  • @mcfreezy19 I also thing Reagan hurt Fords chances very much by trying to take the nomination. I am a democrat but liked Ford very much. I thought the handshake by Carter to Ford was very classy and a nice ovation for Ford by crowd. Ford like Carter was a very decent man.

  • this guy was the worst president ever . . . he was lack luster in everything he did . . . and a horrible public speaker who pauses after every three words. His approval dropped faster than Bush's and he was completely dominated by Reagan in 1980

  • God this guy was awful. He made me feel ashamed to be an American. Just like Obama. I never liked both Bush presidents. This country needs Reagan and Cooliage.

  • @mvd164 .. Ignorance is bliss for those who dont seek wisdom.. Carter was not the best president but he was the one who spoke truthfully and understood why this country was founded. Reagan IS the worst president in that he began the downfall of American morality. No one realizes that Reagan was in fact a puppet for the super-elite, he began the hypnotism of the Middle and lower class citizens. As such the american people have been deceived to the point of becoming puppets themselves (unknowingly

  • R.I.P. President and Mrs. Carter

  • @xander7ful ....they're still alive aren't they?!

  • @emmaiselectrifying Um, no. The ones you see now are duplicates. I can't tell you here but keep in touch and I might be able to link you to some info that will explain.

  • I think Jimmy Carter is still alive

  • @emmaiselectrifying yea, Jimmy and his wife are still alive.

  • @xander7ful ='( the few next to Kennedy that understood what America should represent and where it must go

  • Jimmy Carter will go down in history as being the worse president this country has ever had.

    No back bone....wimp wrist.

  • Woodrow Wilson, Buchanan, and FDR were a lot worse (Buchanan made the Civil War inevitable and Wilson created federal income tax which is unconstitutional), and Obama could possibly end up being worse. At least when Jimmy Carter was speaking you knew he wasn't lying to you

  • For starters: Carter didn't get innocent people killed in Iraq for oil. Kind of strange how satellite technology can pick out a rat in a field yet they haven't been able to capture Bin Laden-the cause of 9/11... who was somewhere in Afghanistan---not Iraq.

George W. & the US government made him into a heroic legend with their foolish incompetence & selfish behaviour which is making the situation even worse as time goes by...

Like Carter, Obama was left with a bad situation.

  • @INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION Over oil....that is a fucking hilarious old liberal argument. You are fucking RETARDED!

  • @UndercoverCracker I guess your a big George W. fan/relative...funny how he got re-elected again...perhaps you work with the oil industry whose making a profit from Iraq?

  • Carter was the worst president ever until the moment that Hussein Obama took office. It is a shame that the institution of the presidency has been marred by a piece of shit named Barack Obama.

  • Yeah, nutcase is a good name for you

  • One true fact about Jimmy Carter:

He was a better President than George W. Bush.

  • I agree! Carter had nothing to work with and any president at the time would have been unpopular and would have loss to Reagan in 1980. A lot of people are saying Barack Obama will wind up like Carter with nothing to work with and being totally blamed for it.

  • @CoolScoobydoo - Excellent points.

  • Amen to that.

  • @INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION Amen to that!

  • 10x better @INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION

  • @INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION and Ronny Reagan

  • @INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION He was not only not better than GW Bush, as a current president he lacked even a scintilla of the resolve to defend the nation that Bush did, but as an ex-president, he lacks even one one thousandth the class that GW Bush has.

  • His voice is just annoying to listen to...he sounds like that guy on Family Guy. Haha

  • I'm apart of a minority. The religious left. It's sad and sickening to think how arrogant conservatives in this country claim hold of patriotism and faith in God. That's one think I liked about Carter. He was a moral man. And I know I'll get criticism over his Playboy interview. Regardless every man who has held that office has my respect.

  • Oh yeah, the prick called everyone in the Tea Party movement a bunch of racists. Classy individual. Puke.

  • What I find ironic is that President Carter was that he was a born again christian, the only president who ever openly admitted it, who found the time to teach Sunday school WHILE president and most Christians have more respect for Reagan, who NEVER attended church except during election years. As a president, Carter was mediocre but he was a great man nonetheless.

  • @airdriver You nailed it with "great man".

  • @airdriver Yes President Carter was a great man but he did a terrible job at the presidency. Jimmy Carter did go to church regularly but that does not account for the fact that he nearly destroyed this country!

  • @ stickyfingers6

It was because of Carter's idiotic policies and Reagan's ability to fix fiscal problems that he got into office, not to mention during his time Reagan brought the economy back. I don't recall that being a bad thing at all.

  • Carter made the Republican revolution a possibility. And in 1977, that seemed impossible after the shellacking the Republican party had taken in the last two election cycles. Sound familiar?

  • As a Dem...I admire Carter's commintment to peace and the poor! As president he SUCKed, bigtime! Barry Soetoro, aka, Obama is following into his footsteps....Hillary Clinton, 2012!

  • Jimmy Carter is a Luciferian. He worships Lucifer: "the bringer of light."

  • *cough sucked ass, carter

  • Search THE OBAMA DECEPTION on youtube. Resist the new world order. Wake up and realize the illuminati has you in their control. Left wing and right wing don't matter, they are both the same. infowars . com

  • I watched the entire Obama Deception and that movie

    1. Can't prove anything except that Obama lies

    2. Is based on a healthy fear of banks but is way, way blown out of proportion

However, Ron Paul is pretty credible and he talks to the infowars guy about banks planning to run the world, but to say that banks have some sort of consolidated conspiracy to rule the world with an iron fist is being overly paranoid. And banks didn't create all the major wars the past 200 years.

  • And the Illuminati...c'mon

  • why Jimmy Carter a peace nobel laureate never invited the dalai lama in the white house, never pronounced the words tibet and dalai lama publicly when he was president. In very near future all US presidents will behave like him. Already we saw Hillary Clinton like a good girl when she was in Beijing this year.

  • This was a blah mediocre speech, badly delivered. He looks small and unpresidential with that huge microphone and his short stature.

  • @RJY4356 I agree. People think George W. Bush was a bad public speaker, but they forget the horrible oratory skills of Jimmy Carter.

  • carter is the man!! go carter!! if he ran today hed have my vote

  • Maybe...but before heading to rebuild in Laos and etc. do you think he and Garth could help a few Americans...I know some here in Oklahoma w/no hot water...holes in roofs and unfed children...also think the movie stars know some here need adopting too?Course probably not their type...these children are Americans.

  • Jimmy Carter signed the Camp David Accords and brought peace between Israel and Egypt,He dealt with the energy shortage by establishing a national energy policy,he signed the SALT II nuclear arms reduction treaty with the USSR,he created the Department of Education, bolstered the Social Security system, and appointed record numbers of women, blacks, and Hispanics to Government jobs and He succeeded in obtaining ratification of the Panama Canal treaties.

  • A phoney peace, the advent of an energy crisis, the continuation of Nixon/Fords hard work with the Soviet Union of which you are giving Carter credit, the expansion of government, and the loss of OUR Panama Canal. You left one thing out, the international slight from Iran when they took Americans hostage. Steller presidency.

  • @stickyfingers6 No one can argue that Carter was extremely dedicated in foreign affairs- but in the areas of economics and overall leadership Carter was an absolute disaster. No president has been voted out in a landslide more than Carter (but Obama has a chance). He is frequently voted as one of the worst presidents in history. And if you listen to this speech, he is a HORRIBLE public speaker. he will always be remembered as Jimmy Peanuts with his idiot brother.

  • You can say what you want to me but it will never change my mind that Jimmy Carter was a damn good president and is still a damn good man and as for Obama you can't judge someone so quickly i mean for god's sake the man's only been in office for a few months the only reason people like you make these comments our because you are simply sour losers stop living in the past and by the way everyone knows that Bush was the worst president in history.

  • @stickyfingers6 If you think for one second that Carter was a good president I would say keep drinking your Billy Beer and stay in your drunken state of dellusion. Carter is often voted by historians as one of the 5 worst presidents. look how bad the country was when he left office. It took a great LEADER like Ronald Reagan to clean up Carter's mess. Why don't you help Jimmy build a few more houses, at least he is good at something.

  • First of all Jimmy gets alot of bad press just because of the iran hostage situation that's the only reason people make bad comments about him a little history for you things were already shitty even before Jimmy came into office and clearly your high or insane if you think for one second that Ronald Reagan of all people was a good president he was absolutely horrible but not as bad as George W. Bush.

  • The Iran hostage was the least of his problems and one he could'nt control, even though there was a botched attempt to free them. How about remembering Carter for double-digit inflation, gas-lines and a reduction of America's military strenght. Carter couldn't get a lost group of Boy Scouts out of the woods. If Carter was so good why was he defeated in a landslide in 1980? You were one of the few people who voted for him in 1980. Go back and live in the 1970s. God bless Billy Carter, right?

  • First off we are not talking about Billy we are talking about Jimmy so get it straight second he lost in 1980 because people were ignorant and stupid enough to vote in Reagan who made things even worse just like they did when they gave Bush 2 terms and as for your 70's comment i love the 70's but im fine exactly where i am thank you very much.GODBLESS JIMMY CARTER,GODBLESS OBAMA.

  • @littlelouie11 he sucks at building a few houses, shit carter is a failure of a human life form

  • If you look at C-Span rankings from last year, you'll learn that Carter ranked 25 out of 42. H ewasn't the worst out of all the presidents of the last 40 years because Nixon ranked 27 (but I do disgree with that, Nixon, in my opinion was better than Carter) and George W. "is our children learning" Bush ranked 36 out of 42. Bush was the worst, worse than Obama.

  • All of which were poor decisions...and by the way the departments of energy and education cause more problems than they solve. And social security is just a scam created by the Federal Reserve...besides that money is being used by the government and there isn't enough of it to give back.

I will say that Carter was a very honest (unlike Obama) and decent man who restored faith in the presidency and that he was able to establish temporary peace in the Middle East

  • @stickyfingers6 Yeah, but his Cabinet was full of New World Order scumbags, so you know he was just a tool like all of the rest. My family visted Plains, Ga when he was president. I remember the trip vividly because it took us two hours to get gas, thanks to Jimbo Willie.

  • @Ciaresayton

Look the thing is everyone is so quick to say that Carter

was a bad president just like they are so quick to say that about Obama who is only in his first year and clearly neither Carter nor Obama are bad presidents think about some of the other presidents we had Ronald Reagan tried to perpetuate another cold war and George W. Bush invaded another country yeah id rather take my chances with a tax on tanning and trying to get gas thank you very much.

  • I hear people often say that Obama is the worst president we ever had.

Many people are too young to remember how bad Jimmy Carter was. Jimmy Carter was surely the worst modern president we've had.

Maybe Obama will rise to the level of Jimmy Carter in the 3 years he has running, but I don't think he has yet.

  • I completely disagree Jimmy wasn't so bad at all like how people make him out to be now George W. Bush was the absolute worst president we ever had in the history of america and Reagan would probably be right behind him and as for Obama i think he is doing a fine job of cleaning up the mess that the Bush administration created and never fixed.

  • Now you are what I call an Obamabot. Completely uninformed of the leaders of our country.

  • Now you are what i call a typical republican sheep completely out of touc
