my F480 is very reliable because it has been dropped i don't know how many times has been water damaged and it is still working absolutely fine apart from a few scratches to the paint work its really good! XD

bloody samsung f480 is way beta i reckong + were i live in australia the f480 just came out and where yous live the f490 just came out i hate how the phone companys do this to ya its ball shit i say, they bring a good phone out then they gota bring out basicly exactly same model with 1 baby extra little feature and they crank up the price from the original one 500 dollars too the new one 1000 dolllars its baaaaaaaaaaallllll shit i say get the F480 SAME FEATURE BASICLY AND YOU GET IT CHEAPER :D

i hate the F480, and i dont think the f490 is much of an improvement, after owning the f480 i will never buy another samsung phone. overpriced and not very well thought out rubbish, i'm getting the nokia n96, screw samsung!

Nice video review, I like the camera of this phone. Though I think the samsung "Tocco" (SGH-F480) is way better.

well the tech for the touchscreen on this hasn't got a patch on the iphones

yet every1 says.. its shit

ppl just hate apple for no reason other than their windows fan boys,

even the guy in the review says it isnt a sensitive as iphone

so if its gd on this phone it as to be better on the iphone,

Hey, no i love apple there UI is far better then Windows etc and if i could afford a iPhone or a Mac i would get one but since this is a cheap but great alternative and is easy t o use i got this.

Just to ask...on phones from Nokia or Sony Ericsson, you can personalise your text message tone to music or some sort of mp3 file. Can the Samsung F490 do the same? As previous Samsung models have not got that function.

ich hab ein iphone und ich kann dir sagen, dass die menüführung von dem samsung hier im vergleich zum iphone wie aus der steinzeit wirkt. eine freundin von mir hat das viewty, da flutschen wenigstens noch die menüs besser als beim samsung
