That is one way of looking at it, and actually we would be the host. Viruses, parasites, fungi and bacteria evolve and become more successful so if that is their way of being an active predator. I dont think most people even make a conscience decision to establish dominance unless it's in business or in order to seperate themselves from the animal kingdom so they can feel superior/rule over it. People are animals sometimes better but more often worse.
