i did this and love it but at some point most videos on youtube dont show, i only hear the sound. i think its with HD video in particular. anyone know anything about this? id appreciate the help.

I just want to say THANK YOU SOOOO much! I absolutely LOVE my phone now! When Moto said they weren't going to give an update from 1.5 I almost threw it out but I decided to try rooting it and I downloaded you ROM... IT WORKS PERFECTLY. The only semi glitch is that the live wallpaper doesn't stay but I could care less. You're great for doing this and making it free!

@NippyFan4ever Hey NippyFan4ever do you think you could help me out with this (or anybody else reading)? I followed the directions exactly, rooted the phone, placed the ZIP on my sd card, booted into recovery mode and wiped the data, but how do I actually install the zip file? In recovery mode the only options are to reboot, 'install update.zip' or wipe all data. It won't let me install the j_r0dd .zip. I don't know what to do from here, but I'm so close!!

@yogibearx15000 If you are getting this issue and from what you have written above, you have yet to install the custom recovery. Pleased install j_r0dd recovery for the CliqXT to then be able to install the ROM!

all working great except that facebook contacts and other contacts dont get added to your contact list, is that because you didnt sign into motoblur? or for some other reason.

Other than that, best 2.1 ROM for quench out there

when i try flash the zip file it says file has no signature then aborts.

anyone help me please? i backed it up, wiped ALL, then flashed.

@arogon719 Make sure to verify the MD5 that I have posted on M3 or re-download the zip making sure it is downloaded properly.

I've been trying to root and install 2.1 all day, and I follow all of the steps right (# in Connect Bot, pushed zip to sdcard) but when I get to recovery mode, the only options I get are 'reboot system,' 'apply sdcard:update.zip' and 'wipe data/factory reset.' I've wiped the data but when I hit 'apply sdcard' it gives me an error saying there is no such file and that it will abort the installation. Should I rename the zip to update.zip?

one more problem: whenever I send a text message to check my prepaid balance, I enter one number, but I get the response from another number. Somehow this little switcheroo is messing something up, and I can't read the notifications nor kill them completely.

I just installed it, and while it's a bit zippy, I did notice a few things:

you can't add facebook to the motoblur accounts anymore, is this a symptom of de-blurring? I mean I can get the facebook app, but it was kinda cute that I had my facebook contacts integrated into the phone.

MasterMind. I just want to say, you are the man! I was having some issues with the BarelyBlurred ROM with the keyboard being finicy and the speaker issue. This version looks cleaner, works smoother and I'm happy to have GoogleVoice and Navigation! Thank you for your hard work man!

Instructions on how to install and patches can be found on the description.

The clock and date are now changed to WHITE text so they can be seen with the install of B2.

Can you change it back to factory settings after you do this?

@fingerposer Yes you can go back to stock 1.5. Make sure to back up via Nand before installing or you can use RsdLite and the SBF file to get it to work. (The SBF and RSDLite information can be found on Modmymobile)
