the beauty of this song for me is, how the music that leads up to and accompanies the lyrics "going to the open sea" has the the rhythm and flow of crashing waves. like the more hollow beats are the body of the waves and the treble ones are the splashing drops. it's musical onomatopaeia.

Very similar introduction to my ears, but it is not a rip-off of it in any way, LAM have sort of replaced NIN as the big industrial rock band as NIN have moved to new things. *thumbs up*
