Mr Hundal, what you say is correct in the ordained sikh religion.There was a purpose and logic in creating sikhs in those times with a baptism and also a unique dress and appearance.

In the modern world, we must move along with the times. If any ordained sikh has the means to earn his living in the attire, then good luck to him!

Other sikhs are cleaned shaven due to social, economic and demographic reasons. Not a thing wrong with that. They have to earn and live

Also I feel an 'amritdhari' who feels he's more important or has more right to make an analysis than other person, took amrit for the wrong reasons. It seems as though in our culture today a Gursikh is somebody who wants to dedicate their life to Guru Ji, and some amritdhari's want to have 'one up' on non amritdhari's.

Like someone who has never gone to war has no right in saying how a soldier should be. (the whole they're marines, they should have no problems with killing people). You're one of many many Amritdhari's who believes he's more important than other people and has a more clear or important perception than another. If our Guru's had that mentality they would never have entered work by Baba Fareed and Kabir Ji into Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I realise none of us can treat everybody with respect like our Guru's did, but surely as an Amritdhari you should be striving towards it. right?
