I was surprised & excited when Robert called about the anniversary showing of IC&E. I would love to have been able to attend. Hopefully I will be able to represent Dean the next time you get together. Dean was very proud of the production and enjoyed showing it to others. Thanks Robert, for keeping the legacy alive. The timing of your call was chilling since Dean passed away Oct 3, 1989. Hope to see you next time, Sharon Stubbs Fritsche; wife of the late D. Dean Stubbs, producer & editor
My volkswagen is in this picture. I worked at the Harold R Clark building and parked there all the time! WOW! Where he is running at the beginning ajd just passes a motorcycle! Cathy Schmitt Snow snowgems@gmail.com
Thanks for a wonderful journey down memory lane! Although I did not attend the Y until 5 years after the making of this film, we still enjoyed traditions of ice-cream and first-time smooches, hanging at Heaps, and walking along the shore of - no wait - in '76 we avoided Utah lake for fear of growing a third leg! Anyway, a fun film - I particularly enjoyed the elevator scene with Jerry and his old missionary friend (who humbly refused screen credit - as did the ADR engineer). :)
