The general line of this album is that they are difficult to perform musical pieces that require a lot of rapport between the musicians. The sudden changes are subtle but also radical. Breaking rhythms, changes in riffs, melodic counterpoint and a central melody line that never goes inside than expected according to traditional rules of harmony. Playing in the Peter´s band is a privilege but also a great challenge. Well, those guys are definitely not a begginers, must be said.

Peter Gabriel is one of the most innovative, prolific geniuses to ever grace us with his wonderful imagination. Man, I love this man! (And seeing Tony Levin in this video was awesome - phenomenal bassist/vocalist)

What kills me is that for 30 years I have been trying to see this man live and every time he comes to town - something happens, and I am unable to make it...kills me. Hopefully that will change this year, when he's in my back yard...Please Lord let this time be different!

what a phenomenal record and tour- I'm amazed the album didn't make more of a splash, it's definitely one of my favorite PG records- a perfect mix of songwriting, soundcrafting, electro, and balsy tunes... I saw the tour twice, and each time was perfect. Tony and crew jam... simply pure magic!

peter will not be coming back to genesis (whether its good or bad, i dont know). He has better things to do, like his humanitarian efforts throughout the world, among other things. I give to local charities, and so should everyone else when they can.

an incredible songwriter... and some of the most disciplined musicians on the planet. I've been in awe of this mans talent since first hearing Genesis Nursery Chryme album back in...74? The average 'pop' listener can't deal with the length of his song phrasing. Musically still years ahead of the curve. Patience is rewarded. AND he was the leading world activist missionary long before Bono and remains so. A gifted, generous & brilliant man.
