in melee? jee you can do ness' dair anytime in melee^_^ make sure you Lcancel it when it doesnt autocancel and try to make use of the fair dair(footcancelling) for mindgames

well i did start playing brawl....i would LOVE to play some melee but no one around plays and really since i've played brawla whole lot i try to play melee and suck TERRIBLY at it....im sure i'd be back to being good if i sat down and had like a nice 5 hour melee session, but yeah right now im pretty garbage at melee

as someone who falls back on ness and plays him competitively, ness is specifically good against fast fallers for his double jump cancel uairs+u-throw combos. his yo-yo gives and pk fire, even dash attacks gives him range advantage against most characters, but people with ranged swords like link and marth makes the ness population go down. esp since everyones a ken or m2k(marth) wanabe.marth's range is very broken imo

The tier list is kind of reliable. Ness used what makes him great, fox didn't do anything that makes him greater. With this counted, that Fox sucked eggs and whatever else.

Ness didn't use what makes him great. The stuff Ness does in this video is some basic stuff that anyone who plans to main Ness at an advanced level should know with only a little extra beyond that.

Sorry for this, but you was wrong. I saw you DJ cancel and waveland. Ness has a good wavedash and the best DJ cancel. I don't see how you can say that you didn't use what makes him great...unless you mean the yo-yo glitch. That is all I can say now unless you tell me what you mean. And What makes him great like you stated "is some basic stuff," and for advance. If you don't call DJ canceling great, then I would say Ness sucks because DJ Canceling is a great metagame tatic and Ness has the best.

dont get me wrong, DjC is a MUST for any ness player worht anything and it is a VERY IMPORTANT technique, but it is not what separates the good players from the great players

Actually, he's right. The computer cannot handle 60 frames per second, so it has to speed the vid up ever so slightly. It's marginal, but it is noticeable. He's right.
