  • I had a 67 it had a black and white seat and 68 with blue. white seat . the 69 had a red . white .blue seat that was round back seat. I did not have 69 Dad sale all of them that year But we did get 3 1970 machine for all of us and in 1972 the seat was all black and the 1973 was a ss433 had a drak blue seat . Dad closed his shop in May 1 1973

  • I am sorry to say but this is a 1968 sno-jet

  • @ss433ron it's a 1969 model B3 which is the bottom line, low dollar machine. Fore the most part, You can tell a 69 by the lack of ribs running down the s-shaped hood, dual vents on either side of the round headlight and the hinged hood. These features were absent from the 68s. The 68s had a riveted on hood which made belt replacement very difficult and a gas cap directly in front of the headlight.

  • @wankel303 Yep, Thats the old 69 allright !! Thats the 150 model under B3 model type on the body tag

I have 2 of them but they are the A2 190 model...Same thing exept for the seat and a 300cc 19hp hirth.

TNX for posting it on here...Always nice to see them around !!!

  • @ss433ron Sorry to say but its a 1969 !!! The 68 had the gas fill in front !! Look at the 1969 model 150 but they are both pretty much the same exept for the gas tank...

  • where's the windshield? took it off for more speed eh?

  • My old Hirth 300 is wonderful! It will idle at about 500 rpm and run great! I'm pretty fussy about the carb parts I use though and I only run forked inlet levers that rarely ever get stuck. The only downside is it will shake every nut and bolt on the sled loose...except for the motor.

  • It's amazing that something could run that rough and not self destruct lol. We bought a 1969 "Deluxe" (Wooo Hooo) it had a 17.5 hp Hirth and a red stripe on the seat. It ran even rougher than the 15, sounded like it fired every 3rd stroke at idle. Cool that you still have yours, sure wish I still had mine.

  • Very cool! Pay attention that doesn't sucks you balls into the carb!

  • thats a hirth engine I hate those shitty engines. They fowl spark plugs plus there to tempermental.

  • @burntvalve86 kohler made good engines back in the day.

  • shes a shaker, just a little flex in the tunnel

  • looks like a hirth engine

  • Love that HD carb on that 15hp motor!

  • ding-ding-poot-poot shake n bake engine

  • that's how my skiroule idles. well it did until i blew up the clutch...

  • Talk about good memories! Back in the middle to late 70's we had a 69 with the 12HP, a 1970 with like a 19HP and a 1971. Those ole' girls were such a blast to ride. I remember very well how much those engines shook. I'd sure like to have one just for nostalgia's sake.

  • shake? That's why you don't see those pretty blue airboxes on many of these. The motor's shake out the bolts!!

  • the answer to how fast is: as fast as you want to go, as long as its not over 15mph lol

  • Old Hirth motors are tanks! I love my Yamaha powered Sno-Jets but these are iron blockers. I fired up my 68' for the first time. The clutch bound up and she took off without me. I ran to catch up. Good thing I could run faster than the sled.

  • how fast?

  • awsome sled man sounds like a sowing machine love it can beat an oldie

  • u need to tightin the engine builts were the engine mounts

    the engine is shacking

  • single bangers are supposed to shake that much, itf you tighten it too much, all that'll do is break the mounts.

  • o i didn't know that

  • wow! quebec made

  • what a shitter !
