The new design is inferior to the current layout in every way possible. I can't think of a single reason to switch to the beta. Ironically, I found a few 'how to' vids on how to get the new beta from channels that still have, or reverted back to, the current look.

I kinda like the idea of watching youre videos from the channel, it works quite well because if youre watching something with multiple parts alot of the time in the related videos thing its jumbled up and realy, its just for ease of acsess. also the design is more flash. not just boring and simple. I like the new channel. thats my opinion.

i think the new channel is pretty cool, it certainly makes editing your own channel easier, since its all on your channel page and u can see the changes right away.

kind of a hassle to click on the drop down list in settings to change every aspect of your channel.

videos embedded inthe channel are cool, yet it isnt the specific video page. i think each has its advantages, and if u want the video page, u can always click on it as u would on a normal channel.

Not all change is positive; ebay does this a lot too they reached perfection in 2004 then started shooting themselves in the foot over and over again but they care more about what stock people say rather than the little guy; like all corporations care about themselves the most; at least youtube is still free.
