well the plane i was on the pilots looked very irish and sounded very much like irish people to me so thats how i know they were irish maybe in other parts of europe they use foreign people to fly their planes i dont know...fair enough ryanair planes have skidded off the runway but never any fatal incidents yet.have you get any links for that crash in girona have not heard of that before??:)

soutwest and ryanair are totally differant .southwest have dodgy pilots whereas ryanair have good irish pilots they might have the odd few rough landings but every airline can bounce when hitting the runway .no ryanair planes have ever crashed unlike southwest

That was a landing made without any effort made to flare before touchdown..maybe they overshot there touchdown point and hastened the hold off in favour of landing within the length of the runway! Very unusual to see that flaring aircraft becomes like riding a bike for pilots so that landing was unfortunate or of course windshear could have been a factor
