You cannot capture the effect of this song on video. Especially in a beautiful church like this! They do a wonderful job! If you ever get a chance to see them in concert, do it!

if you can't take constructive criticism then you shouldn't be musician. They are correct. The "nairs' are way too fast, there are too many overtone singers, and the overtone section does not last nearly long enough. The entire ending is rushed, it says in the music that it should last for at least a minute to a minute and a half. I'm sorry that your conductor decided he knew better than the composer.

In case your wondering where i get off criticizing you...its because im in this video, and personally I think everyone of you should climb down off your pedastols and just simply view the song as it was meant to be viewed don't analyze it just to make yourself feel better.
This song has a great beginning but once the woman kick in with their nair nairs, it all falls apart. Everyone is playing catch up and it sounds completely off.
Argh, Part six started falling in pitch pretty fast. And I'm not sure if it's because of the round recording set-up but I need more MEN! Again, too many overtone vocalists, and flat ones at that. I can't wait to perform this next week.

there were some pretty good overtones. but personally i think there were too many people doing them. Also that end part wasnt carried out long enough to let the effect soak in.

At 4:15 when the girls start they're part they are WAY WAY WAY to fast. This song is ment to be slow and time consuming in the literal sense.
I did this song high school 99' and was taught by Dr. Anton Armstrong...if anyone wonders where i went to HS it was Hastings, MN.

My chorus teacher had us doing this piece for a while, but we never finished it. Too bad; it's got a really awesome sound to it. ^_^
