why did Qatar use 777 between Doha and Karachi? distance is not even a thousand miles :L:L =D

@mhrock001 I guess Qatar Airways has gotten an extensive amount of interest (passenger-count), so they use a bigger aircraft.. That'd be my guess. :P

@mhrock001 cuz this route is called EN ROUTE which flies from Karachi to Houston TX, USA, so the next flight after stopping at Doha would be, i guess the next flight number should be Qatar 77

@furqanmazharali En route just means the plane is on route to somewhere... doesnt mean it is a flight to Houston or whatever VIA Doha... i dont think Qatar has routes from Pakistan to other countries than Qatar.. This route has at least since september 10th been flown with A330-200/300,and lands in Doha 08:40. Thats 5 minutes before Qatar 77 departs for Houston.Flight to Houston is 16H 5Minutes long,and is flown by 777-200LR.So doubt QTR319 has any correspondence with QTR77 :D

I hate the fact that u flew a 777 on that 2 hr flight and I flew a stuffy A330 (with entertainment that wasn't even close to the 777) from Doha to New Delhi and then from Mumbai to Doha.

@asharraza a A319 is to small for Karachi, I think the operate only one daily flight to Karachi..Karachi is a huge destination, I think only Emirates have at least 4-5flights daily out of Dubai...
