I wish this guy would run for president. He has guts. He opposed the Iraw War, Patriot Act and supports gay marriage. He has taken positions based on principle and not polls.

Well, he did initially run for president for a while, before bowing out due to obviously unfavorable circumstances for him. He would've made a terrific "dark horse" candidate, but I believe he saw it coming that Clinton and Obama would become the front runners with Edwards seemingly becoming the "dark horse." But he's still in the Senate to kick ass, and can always run again later.
