I am not sure what the botanical name is. It might be in the cereus family because of it's long flat leaves, even though the bloom resembles the Christmas cactus. If you ever get one DO NOT REPOT it let it get potbound and then just very low fertilizer and it wil bloom for you.
Is it call red flowering cactus? So beautiful!
