'You all like explosions right?' Hell yeah. Heck, take a look at Hollywooed (summer movies in particular) The basic formula is something like T&A+TNT=Ticket Sales. It doesn't make it good per se, but it makes things a lot more watchable.
That said, it's fortunate that Blizzard is about much more than mere explosions. Part of the reason why it's taken this long to produce DIII is their insistence on delivering a quality experience on as many levels as possible.
I will never be able of playing this game if there's gonna be explosions and fire and lightning involved with every single thing you do. Why the hell must there be large flames in the air and a blue explosion just because someone is swinging his SWORD around? Damnit, give me realistic GORE instead of this damn exploding crap meant to cater for 12-year olds...
That being said, why the heeeeellllll would someone have to JUMP to teleport? Aarrghh, this game is looking worse every day..
Have you played a game called Magicka? If not you should really check it out. When you strike your physical weapons, it's really like it should be! It's actual physical SWORDS hitting the target! You can see chunks of flesh fly off the creature exactly where the sword hits, and huge fleshwounds on the creatures as they get more damaged when you're using weapons (not spells of course). Overall, the gore in that game is very realistic, unlike what you can see in these D3-previews.
Oh, forgot to say, that game is made by a small independent company that is completely new. If they can do something incredible like that, why couldn't Blizzard with their armies of programmers? (Probably because Blizzard has become the new EA, who nowadays just create pretty bad games made to sell and make alot of money, instead of for being FUN like back in the days...)
@xxxx85 if you want realism you can always play games like the new mortal kombat.. they getting pretty good with realism.. fighters get blooded when they get hit..
but i never thought off blizzard as a company aiming for realism in their games.. it seems like they are after perfecting the gameplay factor.. they want the player to use their heads to overcome the challenges presented in the game.. whether your character looks realistic doing it.. its not a big deal
@xxxx85 I'd like to agree with you until you get to the part about comparing EA to Blizzard....Blizzard is maybe the biggest company ever about high quality games...they will NOT release a game until it's fully polished and fun for everyone.....that's why they never give their games a release date.
@wtfcantfindname they've already said that not only will there be pvp in d3 but d3 will focus more on pvp than d2 ever did, so expect something more complex than the hostile/dueling system of d2
nice video. have any of you guys checked out the wow cheats pack at warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? it is awesome, i just downloaded it. it's got absolutely everything in it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches and even the newest arena glitch. i probably shouldn't reveal to folks about it however at least it gives you all a fair chance to download it before i pwn you all!

Being able to place runes into the skill tree is a very cool idea. Does anyone know if the rune can be removed again or replaced? Would kinda suck if you placed a "test" rune in and then become stuck with that choice "forever".
If the drop rates in D3 are anything like D2LOD then you'll get enough low level runes to not care about destroying them ;) good to know that you can "test" them out though...
Im fucking tired of seeing shity videos that says "HD" ...

Yes you can remove the rune but the rune will be destroyed.
