I watched your videos last summer when I was still contemplating getting Invisalign. I was wondering whether you had posted anymore since your "After Invisalign" video.

Do you know whether all Invisalign providers offer the clear retainer or the wire, or was it just your ortho?

And, did they make your sister/parents pay extra for your sister's metal braces or did they allow it to be covered under the Invisalign cost?

@zecheriah IPR stands for Inter Proximal Reduction. It's when you get in between your teeth filed.

I haven't watched your videos in a while, so I don't remember if you said whether or not you ever got it done.

Popeye712: I currently have Invisalign (on tray 23 of 24) and I've had it done multiple times.

Really? The wire has being recommended to me for when I'm done. Apparently it's less effort, cheaper over life time (no replacement for lost retainers) and better for your teeth. Has your wire caused you any problems?

Can you tell me how they remove the attachments? I've been getting kind of worried... My tooth messed up and they need to apply new attachments...

removing the attachments is nothing. invisalign is painless in all aspects. the only time there is discomfort is when you change trays. it's like getting traditional braces tightened, just a little pressure.

I had my attachments removed and re-applied (Have to restart Invisalign completely) a while ago. Removing the attachments isn't painful, but one part of applying attachments is still painful to me and changing sets (They call them trays? I'm not sure, but I see everyone use "trays".).

Could you, as a finish of your invisalign diary, give us a shot of your upper teeth/palate? Show us the results and how the upper wire is attached?

Is the upper wire thicker than the bottom one?...Aren't the upper teeth stronger?

Do you have to especially clean it after meals?

Can you floss with the wire?

I can try to show the uppers.. they look exactly the same as the lower ones that i tried to show and as far as i know the wire is the exact same.. if it's any different, i can't tell.

I just clean it at night. floss it as best i can, brush and mouthwash.. seems to do the trick.

flossing is tricky but you can do a pretty good job.. i have something called the "Waterpik" wich works well also
