@bridgetsummerfield Hi there..the gate agents and ground supervisor came crashing through the gate yelling " GET BACK AND GET OUT!!" They had security and airline personnel to help get everyone in the lower level...

Actually, your quite right as there was no warning....BUT the weather on Channel 9 said to prepare for possible tornadoes....tornadoes are un predictable and you can never tell when they will hit...that's what happened to my home town in Joplin..thank god my family was ok..

Big screw up I'd say. Thankfully no one died but I bet they are getting sued by people who were injured.

it really interests me to watch how people start to react. You can see people reflected on the far right looking at something just before you hear the first loud breaking sound. Somehow the woman seated in the center figures out really fast that there's danger, and she's up and running before the man on the left even has looked up. And it's more interesting that she reacts so fast because she appears to be on the phone at the time.

And all this is over in seconds. Amazingly fast.

At 1:07 you can see in the upper left hand corner of the screen (in the reflection) the roof starting to rip off.When we made our way around to exit i could see alot of damage to the roof in that area

after watching this several times I can tell a 1:06 you can see the Jet-bridge on C12 start to move side to side. If I saw the news right the main part of the tornado was a gate further down? Didn't C15 -16 have the most damage? You can also see that the 757 (the plane parked at the gate) was moved to the left by the tornado as you can see the green part of it right wing. I was shocked they didn't say there was a tornado warning beforehand .

My friend George was sitting to my left texting his wife. When it hit behind us i looked over and he was already on the ground , holding onto the bolted down chairs. When it passed he went back to texting his wife , calm as a cucumber. The air was very heavy with the debris it vacuumed from the main concourse and ours.

I believe your right, we were sitting in the middle of C10-C12 . We were waiting for flight 1982 to chicago . C12 had already boarded for flight 699 on the right and got blown off the jetway . You can just make out the nose and left side lit cabin lights in the blown out glass hole looking outside.
