I think it sounds like he can't drive it because it can't hook up and really work the engine. A pair of fat sticky slicks and some proper shocks and you could lift the wheels on that fucker. I miss my mouse motor 65' :(

having enough tq in 6th is hp.. no make a lot of wheel tq in a large gear ( velocity is high) takes hp, not crank tq....

it depends on what cam it has, you will find that some cars have a torque range of like 2900-4500, after that, they loose torque
