@Bennynaut hey man God has a plan for everyone and that was part of his plan God knew he would blackout God knew it would teach people a lesson in the future and if he has kids today he probably took tjem and told them wt happend and to make sure they stay safe
Ok, so Jesus saved you. Wouldn't that mean he also caused you to black out? Or was that your other imaginary friend the devil?
Maybe you shouldn't be thanking anyone though. Maybe you should be pissed at your freediving instructors who didn't tell you the WORST thing you could do is exhale before reaching the surface - as evidenced by the crazy amount of bubbles surrounding you right before you black out. It's exactly why you passed out and can be avoided easily.
@bennynaut That's interesting. I think you may be right. They taught me to exhale a little while coming up. Saying that if you come up too fast your lungs might not adjust quickly enough and get damaged if you don't have a way to equalize the pressure, thus them teaching me to exhale a little.
I believe that Jesus is sovereign and in ultimate control of everything. That's why I thank him for everything. He's been so generous to me in so many aspects of life.
Thanks for posting , i learnt zllot from your video ... Who kniws you may have just saved my life without even knowing it. I have just been certified open water , you have made me positive i will never risk diving without a buddy
Is this a Go Pro camera? love the film work, i just got one. What kind of mounts have you been using? I want to mount one to my shot gun like you mounted it to your spear but i dont know which one to buy, thanks!
Thanks for sharing mate! Everyone can have a different Blackout experience but they all start the same and the safety rules are also the same. Good vid.
A good friend of mine drowned while freediving with me. I believe this is what happened to him.................... always have your buddy next to you.... never ever leave his side!
I want to freedive also. But i don't know if im good enough to pull it of?
If im holding my breath and laying still my record is 3:10 minutes. But that's really the max, most of the time underwater i freak out to soon. But when i will take lessons in freediving will they learn me how to handle it all and stuff?
@Arnoud2423:10 is pretty good. In your freediving course, you will learn to 'belly breath' or breath with the bottom of your stomach, to 'breathup' before you dive. Do that for about 4 minutes then hold your breath hold, your'll get 4 minutes easy.
@Born2Die83 correct me if iam wrong, but if you'r reffering to hyperventilation method this is extremely dangerous, especially when someone combine's spearfishing with freediving.
I will subscribe to whoever answers my question how do you hold your breath for that long without having to take classes i can hold it for a min and 30 seconds siting still i know how to blow the o2 off but i still cant do that and i am not really able to train at altatude
@fernanbecks07 I'm just being realistic. If he would have dived alone, and didn't have anyone to grab him up, then yes, go ahead and thank whoever you want. Without someone to watch over him, in this physical world, he would have died. You can be the perfect Christian and dive solo, but your prayers won't be answered when you're unconscious under water. Only common sense and having a dive buddy will keep you safe. Don't hate on me because of my religion or there lack of.
jesus didn't save your life, your friend did. You got some balls thanking that invisible friend of yours who i'm pretty sure had you been alone he wouldve watch over you whle you drown, thank your real buddy who saved you
@AlexnuK When your brain's oxygen levels drop below 10% it shuts down all other functions to conserve the rest of the oxygen to keep the brain alive for as long as possible. When this happens the mouth will open and take in water causing the lungs to spasm and not allow anything else in. In this guy's case his brain told him to take in air through his nose, fortunately he had a mask on and couldn't take in water.
@islaepino I would agree with you on most days. We were spearing many different spots that were very close to each other. Muzzle control is very important if you do choose to bring your guns back on the boat.
agree with the above comments, maybe you should be thanking your dive buddy, and not some fictional plagiarized Hyroglific nonsense...

what causes a blackout?
AlexnuK 7 months ago
