My belly is growing exactly like yours... all to the front, but my belly button is completely sticking out, I like it though. I am 32 weeks and 5 days a long and I am having a boy, I was wondering if you were having a boy also due to the shape of our bellies. I am also lucky in the no stretch mark domain I hope it continues this way. My mom had big babies and didn't get any stretch marks, so maybe the good genetics passed on to me. Did you really not get any stretch marks! Your belly looks amazing here. Im 35 weeks and my baby girl has already done so much damage.. The stretch marks are rediculous... were you using any products?

No I didn't get any stretch marks, I'm very fortunate to have good genes. My mom had five kids and never got stretch marks so I think it's genetics all the way for me. I used an oil I got at a natural foods store called 'Mother's Special Blend' and I loved it. It's a blend of natural oils, smells wonderful, and also helps tighten the skin up after pregnancy. I'm sorry you're getting them and hope you find something that works for you!

I am going to see my Doctor tomorrow and discuss our Birth Plan. I am doing Hypnobabies birth method, and I was wondering if there was anything I needed to be sure to ask that you could recommend?

Seeing as I'm a first-time Mom I don't really know how to answer that. We're not doing a birth plan with our midwife because the way they work is so in line with what we want. You should definitely ask if they've worked with hypnobirthers before and I would recommend including that no one even mention drugs to you and certainly not push it on you when you're in the sensitive time of labor. The nurses can get really pushy so I hear. Let me know how it goes!

Good, I'm glad it could be helpful. I didn't realize it was going to take so long to go over it, but I knew it was really different in a lot of ways from a hospital list and thought that in itself would be a good enough reason to share. And thanks, I love my belly too! :)

So, your breast milk doesnt come til day 2? If so, does the baby get formula while waiting til day 2?

No, you don't have to give them formula. The mother's body makes colostrum for the first 2 or 3 days, which is much thicker and is exactly what a newborn needs. It coats their entire digestive system and seals it so that they can later digest the breast milk without any internal bleeding. That's why giving babies formula before breast milk is so bad for them, they get small amounts of internal bleeding without the colostrum to seal everything up.

I use Rescue Rememdy at the moment (19 weeks) I use it when I get a lot of pain. It doesn't take away the pain but helps me to relax.
