about the buter pimps..pretty much what they were are men who are also homeless addicts down there who pretty much find them a working girl to call the "girlfriends"...the girl with go prostitute and come back with the money and share her drugs with him..he will say he can offer her protection but that isnt the case..one you drive off in that car they cant do shitt..they are good for nothin..i never had one..most of the girls down there work only for their drug addictions and not a pimp.

i was prostituting on mcmicken street briefly about 4 months with the girl on the right in 2009...beth is her name...i managed to get out and goto rehab..i am now in my last year of college..beth is so smart it kills me that she is still out there..i had numerous conversations with her..drugs can hit anyone educated or not...and sometimes this can be the result...fortunatley i was about to get out of it but beth was not so lucky..i can say i truly liked her..

Thank you for not asking too many questions and letting them talk. This is a very good look into the problem and demonstrates quite simply that there are many driving forces to prostitution that all need to be overcome.
