@Sophie3104 Great trivia question. It is found on the WHITE ALBUM Side 4 after cut 4 "Cry Baby,Cry" It is a little ditty that Paul did (no title or lyrics listed on the album) just as a intro into cut 5 "Revolution 9" an abstract collage of strange sounds that John put together.
George played very unique leads and rythum (sorry about the spelling). So well thought out. The first as far as i know to use his pick and fingers too.
February 9, 1964. I was four at the time.. Don't remember if I got to watch it or not.. I like to think that I did. My love for the Beatles was sparked early on, that's for sure. So long ago that I don't remember the exact moment. Sometimes I wish I was about 5 years older, so that I could have a better memory of these early days of the group.
@TheKnowBuddies- I can't thank you enough for putting the TIME& EFFORT for this amazing five video compilation of "The Fab Four" storming America for the first time in 1964! Puts me right back in front of the TV waiting for the Ed Sullivan show to come on, anxious with anticipation. They DID NOT disappoint! Thanks for the GREAT memories..... Cheers, Mate!
And 6:28 is adorable. Both George and John have serious looking faces and then they glance at each other for a second and smile. Two souls connecting...now those two souls have passed. R.i.p. to the both of those fine gents.
Aw... :) I like when they did the close-ups with their names. I like when it was George's turn and he notices he was on and smiled and then everyone started screaming. What a smile...
Just pure happiness. Great performers with such huge personalities. Oh, I love it at 1.52 where Macca stumbles with a word and then does his harmony part slightly differently. George grins wryly as he has a look to see if John had noticed the mistake. CLASS!
A) the Beatles are the greatest of all time and have influenced every aspect of music today regardless of genre or style.
B) This is such a great video because it really exemplifies the true talent of the time period...meaning that the music doesn't drown out the vocals and their live performances sound as if you were playing it off a record. Music has been destroyed and this is a great reminder of what we have lost.
I don't know why their tuning at this performance is half tone lower than usual. Is this for the safety of singing or simply recording equipment's problem? Any one knows ?
ringo was the first important rock drummer, before their appearance in this show the drummers were almost hidden in comparison with the other band members, ringo revolutionized this, appearing as a meter above all, highlighting and even singing.
And then five years later we were being shot at by the Ohio National Guard at Kent State. Why does time go by so so so quickly? Enjoy your Justin Biebers and Lady Gagas or whatever you are listening to--they will soon be a memory. Love the Beatles forever-take me back - yeah yeah yeah
The metal militia will be attacking Justin Bieber's video (justin bieber baby ft. ludacris) on the FOURTH OF JULY! Assemble all fans of good music in every genre! (Jazz, Metal, Classical, Classic Rock etc.) On said date leave a comment giving your thoughts on JB, close the comment with -MM. Copy and paste this comment to all the good band videos! (Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, led zeppelin, black sabbath classical composers, jazz composers etc) Thumbs up this
George's guitar solos always sounded better in the live performances - something about the studio production just never did them justice (they were chopped up and made less interesting).
best band to walk this earth...it just maked me wanna cry tht ill never ever c them play sniff sniff ...they just such music gods....!!!im a 16 year old dude btw
Amazing!!!!!!!!....I never see that crazy screaming girl fans, as this. Best RB Forever All times. They music like a bomb. I have 27 but i love theyr music.

Thank Brian Epstein. May he rest in peace, but he never gave up and took this band from a little hole in the wall to a worldwide phenomenon.
It can still be done today. But....finding the right band is no easy task.

I had expected something like this to be on the Anthology DVD Box Set.
That is why I did this. It could be done. (Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink, if you know what I mean.)
I have other rare footage. If this small project gets a good response, (and I don't get sued) I may consider doing another.
Thank You for your appreciation.
Cheers!
