  • These Cars Are Worth Fixing. I Got An 89 Deville. These Cars Are Worth The Money. My Problem Is The Computer Is Going Bad I Think But Other Than That Mine Is Good. The Fuse For the Trunk Might Be Bad Or The Wiring Is Shot On It Thats The Reason Why Its Not Going Down

  • buy a new trunk latch or open that trunk latch and re adjust it to cled level and it gonna be manual not auto pull

  • Your trunk won't close because your trunk motor needs replacing. My grandmother has a 1992 she brought it brand new. But as a kid I used to love playing with her trunk because that was one of the cool features on the car. But what you would have done if you brought your car brand new....lol. is close the trunk half way and inside of the trunk there is a piece that sticks out at the bottom and on the top of the trunk hood there is a clamp that snaps on to the hook and the hook pulls it down.

  • i have the same car its my first too, my trunk has a hard time closing also.

  • dammnn....that shit is NICE

    i recently bought a deville 1990 for 500! =)

guy wanted 700 but ended up giving it to me for 5oo

BUT.....bad things are the catalytic converter =( and the battery recently diedbut i

bought anew battery and a converter about 200

front windows wont go up =( rear speakers r blown im guessin.

some cosmetic damage but stilll nice

my door locks but i cant unlock it lol|| overall good deal =)

    good luck with your project

  • i like what time it was on the radio ;)

  • It's indeed a beauty. We have a 93 DeVille, that I plan to put on YouTube. Those tops go for $800-$1100 (depending on the specifics for your car). The blue is a good color, too.

  • thanks, i went to get a qutoe for the top the guy said $280 lucky deal.

  • Good price for the top. For the driver half of the split bench seat, in our '92 DeVille, to be done with imitation leather, it was $450. He said, he'd do the ElDorado for the same...even though it has that rolled tucked thing going.

  • @mikebakeson123 i take this over anny cts or dawoo cars

  • what are the issues you having with, that's a beautiful car man....

there aren't too many fleetwoods in that style around today..

  • The transmission is going out. The Electrical System is shot , The brake master cylinder is going out , stopping is becoming a real hazard. And the values are malfunctioning. Also the exhaust system is gone. By the time I fix all that it'll be 3500 dollars later.

  • if u want another one, you can always find one that's in better condition...

  • @mikebakeson123

I had one of these when I lived in the US.... have you had problems with the alternator and starter???

  • still got the deville?

  • yea still going strong. But i might be selling it soon. To many problems developing. by the time i fix all the problems i could buy another one the works really good.

  • yo man ur trunk could be a fuse that was the problem on my 94 fleetwood, if not the motor is gone which is pretty pricey

  • @mikebakeson123

    What kind of problems?

Did you sell it yet? what did you fix so far?

  • hey .. is this car carburator or fuel injected... cause they sell one in my neighborhood for 1200 and its clean as hell.

  • Hell ya its a cadillac? As long as it is a deville then its fuel injected.

  • iight.. cool.. yeah its a 1990 deville.. its real clean the only thing is that the leather seats are kinda cracked but for 1200 its not bad at all huh?

  • Not bad at all for $700. I got one from a dealer for $1600. WELL still owe about 1g on it. Front seats have the exact same damage as yours...found that kind of funny. Dumb 90s leather I guess? Well mine doesnt have those wheel covers and the rims are a bit more faded...a little polish can fix that though. Will post a vid of mine soon or later. Mostly just wanna vid as kind of a before and after thing.

  • I have a 1990 cadillac deville that I am restoring, too. I got it for $500 3 years ago.

Put about $9k into it. I put a Bose/Delco cd radio Gold series into it. Also, the trunk won't close because the motor is bad. I like this car, too. lol.

  • im about to get a 1993 in 2 weeks for 2gs. anybody know of any more wood grain packages that can be added to the car. also gonna get a new grill for it. gotta get it painted too. its navy blue exterior with navy blue interior like yours except no buttons or wreaths on the seats. thinking about going candy black

  • You hav the regular edition their still nice .the wood grain in it is enough. for a good grill try ebay thats where im getting mines from. or google shopping its great. I'll be posting a video in about 1 week on my update. Good luck with your car man. I wanna see a video of it.

  • thats a really nice project car. with the trunk, you have to take apart the pull down motor a manually turn it so the latch goes down. try to tap the motor with a hammer while pushing on the switch that sgnals the motor to pull the latch down. With the a/c, check the connection of the wire that goes to your blower fan. It is not uncommon for there to be corrosion in the connection. Do some online reasearch and see what other things go bad with those. but check connection first.

  • I used to own the same car, in a dark navy. Miss it already,

  • that's a beautiful color man and u drivin a fleetwood that's a classic
