Hey thanks all. I wrote and produced these. And these were aired, of course. This is just the version of the spots before tagging. That's so they can be reused later with different air info. Before you sue me, though, keep in mind this was only one series of promos, the 'recap' spots which the network mandated because they thought the plot was too difficult to catch up on if you missed one. And I'm sure you recall the 300 others I did which were not at all like these.

I remember never wanting to watch the show because the promos totally put me off. Then I just happen to catch the very last episode (which at the time I didn't realize was the last episode) and I fell instantly in love with this show. The Promos totally made this look like something I wouldn't like. It looked like a bunch of hicks in some goofy comedy mystery. I had NO idea that this show was fantastically Sci-Fi, surreal, and hauntingly moving until I watched it. Great show with bad promos.

@Raffaeledl Who ever made the promos should have been sued back then for making a GREAT show look retarded. The promos made it look like Get Smart meets Disney with a twist of the Beverly Hillbillies. Not to mention the Promos also made this show sound very fake and plastic like your typical non threatening network shows back then. Little did I realize that Twin Peaks was FANTASTIC. I didn't give the show a chance until the last episode. I was upset that I let the promos put me off.

@idavidsawyer Haha have to agree with this these promos don't really do the show justice. Anybody who doesn't like these ones should watch BBC 2's 4 minute promo from Oct. 3rd, 1990 (it's here on YT). It's better.

Wish I could find some more of these ABC promos (especially from Season 2, in the spring of 1991).
