  • PLANT MURDERER!

  • You monster, why did you kill them?

  • D8 They died...

  • why did you kill them?:(

  • @droppinstep I hate plants! :)

  • they died...

  • ?? I'm sorry but were there seriously trolls on a videos of SUNFLOWERS GROWING?? SERIOUSLY??!! LOL

  • @shabamflam lol. I know. It's pretty amazing. :)

  • Why are they so close together???

  • @looks911 Because I set them close together.

  • See my vids about how to grow sunflowers and watermelon timelapse

  • Its ok I did sound like an idiot

  • Sry cybercab, I like ur vid by a lot, I was just depress and dizzy(drunk)but I did put thumbs down

  • I hate ur buffering I did not subsribe I put thumb down and dislike

  • @Windy12534 My buffering? Do you understand how this web site works? The buffering is because you have a slow connection. You write like an idiot. Please have your caretaker remove your internet access.

  • @Windy12534 Wow, so you blame it on him? Just stop trolling him, because hating is bad.

  • @Windy12534 You must be really dumb ....

  • Ur vid is the bad quality I hate I hate u I can't even the yello sunflow u know

  • @Windy12534 What does this even mean? Are you drunk? Learn to write before you spread your hate.

  • @cybercab so, don't kill so many plants :( please

  • @droppinstep Why? In one sense, these plants would have never lived if it weren't for me. They were to be bird food

  • @cybercab But if you don't want to care them, you can plant them outside, in somewhere..

Why we need to kill live living creatures if we really don't NEED to?

kill is worse than hate...that's why

  • @droppinstep Yeah, you're a nutjob. Should I not mow the lawn? Should I not eat vegetables? It's hard to tell if you're kidding. You sound so sincere.

  • @cybercab and you have reading problems. I say NEED

I eat vegetables because i NEED to, i mown the lawn too and it doesn't kill the plant.

well, you don't understand anything, u just talk with arrogance, and you're so lazy that you can assemble all the camera equipment, but you can't let them in any soil that you see everyday..or give them.

At least, you could ignore me because this doesn't matter too much, i was speaking too calmness then you start saying stupid things. bah, get lost

  • @Windy12534 Troll.

  • cool little video!

  • what song did you use? btw, this is oddly beautiful.....bittersweet, i must say...

  • @Autumnsnow25 Thanks. This is a song from the soundtrack of Donnie Darko

  • D: they died

  • WHY IS IT RED???

  • @GlerdskiParkourz I didn't do color correction on the photos. I could have but there was no point. Plus it's kinda a fun way of looking at it. But mostly I was lazy.

  • wow one of them had 3 leaves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Btw raven is right, a ballet of death. Nice. Lol good call

  • Peaceful! Gosh that was a great video for such a long day.

Well these seemed to have fallen over drunk as well. My daughter is doing a sunflower project right now, the sunflowers have not yet gotten to the point where try fall over drunk but now that I see this I am going to look up info on how to prevent this cause we r both now worried about the outcome. IRS look the SAME exact way so these r sunflowers. Not bird seeds.

  • Why did you let them die at the end? I'm growing sunflowers from seed right now, and was looking for time-lapse video of them growing, because I was concerned, as they get 4 to 6 inches tall, they sorta fall over drunk. I was wondering if that was normal, or if the ones that stay upright are the best to keep.

  • @adelelles I don't think these were actually sunflowers. just birdseed but it looked like sunflowers. I had not intention to grow them fully. just testing my new camera.

  • Comment removed

  • @adelelles I did a similar thing, I planted some seeds I got from a watermelon last year. But the saplings all collapsed for apparently no reason. It seems like some saplings do that when they aren't grown from seeds that are made for growing plants. You can see that the saplings grow very tall but never sprout more leaves than those two. Healthy saplings will not grow very thin and soon sprout nice big leaves. At least that is my experience so far. I'm not a botanist, just a hobby gardener.

  • They're either fighting or dancing.

  • That one cheated. It had three cotyledons!

  • looks like a bunch of kids fighting, they need more space

  • The music, they way there all emerging from the underground.....they are a little to close together, and will never be tall, strong and healthy. The way there emoving about like baby gardner snakes(ugh). Anyway we're halfway thru this videoand no real development....i was expecting to see a 6 ft. tall sunflower come to be by the end of this video, it can be done...3 months in 3 days, you need to set up special equipment. I didn't expect to see them dancing about like they were, really! THX

  • i like milk

  • A Sunflower Ballet of Death.

  • What an amazing, almost sensuous, dance they perform with each other.

  • Therre DEAD AHHHHH

  • Anyone else thought the background music kinda resembled one of the themes from Dexter?

  • @HowLongsItBeen Thank makes sense. This is actually from Donnie Darko but Dexter is my favorite show.

  • Pretty cool, but you let them die :(

  • I shall admit, this was quite fascinating, Mr. Cute Boy

  • the song is from the movie Donnie Darko... very good choice! A+ movie

  • the dancing was beautiful, the music.. beautiful! I can't believe you killed them:(

A more beautiful drama would have been to see the flowers bloom

  • love the song

  • what a depressing music. No wonder the plants died.

  • Wow! This stop motion is very good! Please, may you tell me the title of the song?

  • how long did it take them to grow that big

  • I believe this was about 3-4 days after it started sprouting.

  • fantastic, how do was this done on a still camera?

  • Yes, it's a still camera. I used a Nikon 995 CoolPix with an time controller module which is external. I have some better videos than this. I'd like to film with more frequency but run out of memory on the chip. It's a trade off.

  • what is the interval you used for the time? just curious.

  • I believe I did 1 shot per 5 minutes on this one.

  • It's like they are dancing in a vampire setting at first,

  • looks like the plants are dancing to the light

  • It does. Pretty weird.

  • what's the music?

  • Good thing you killed them because it looked like they were fighting! LOL!

  • They can be pretty aggressive. The big one took my wallet and said unpleasant things of my mother!

  • That bastard!

  • AHAHAHA

  • im kinda creeped out

  • that was so cool, i cant believe how much they move...i wasnt expecting them to die at the end lol

  • Thanks. I actually cheated and killed them at the end just for a little drama. I sprayed them with rubbing alcohol.

  • it's like a plant mosh pit! :D

  • lol. Nice simile.

  • Absolutely mesmerizing.... what is the song that is playing with the video?

  • Thanks. It's from the movie Donnie Darko.

  • its like they're dancing.

  • Yeah, it's weird

  • im actually trying to raise a sunflower in my balcony in what used to be my ecopoint... this vid is great. Thanks

  • Thanks. Good luck with that. I had better luck with my video called Potato Dance. Lighting is critical.

  • this is cool

  • ITS ALIVE! MUAHAHA! lol cool vid :]

  • why does one of the plants have three leaves?

  • It's a magic plant.

  • The one with three cotyledons (is that what they ar e called?) is probably those sunflower seeds that are in that other shape. Ive seen them before.

  • yes this came from bird seed so I doubt any of it is actual sunflower but it looked like it.

  • To me, this is the most beautiful thing in the world. I love how it starts from nothing and out of the earth comes this life.

    Thanks so much for posting.

  • Well thank you so much.

  • this is really really cool

it just creeps me out how much they move lol

  • Thanks. I agree. It is pretty wild. Check out my air potato vines. Those things go crazy!

  • They danced, how beautiful..

  • they danced because they are always facing the sun.

  • Not really, though that's true with some plants. In this case I didn't move the lamp. They just swing around in circles trying to get sun and other things. There doesn't appear to be any "intentional" behavior as far as I can tell. But I didn't ask them.

  • CREEPY

  • I'm guessing you killed these ones too at the end?

Also Donnie Darko is cool lol

  • Yes, I sprayed them with alcohol and put cuts in the stems.

  • nice one, check out out some of my time lapses

  • ok, I will

  • *5* Awesome Channel...you make some very cool videos.

I subbed too, please return the favor if you like? :)

  • OK, I'll check it out.

  • danceing flowers

  • They were feeling festive!

  • wow, amazed, how long did it take to film that??

    cheack out my vids.

  • 4 Days

  • sounded like a was watching a horror movie, but very cool

  • It's from the movie Donnie Darko :)

  • Kinda erie - nice shootin! :-)
