As much as I like Maddie, I think that Chloe has a maturity about her that Maddie lacks. Not just in her dancing, but in the way she handles things in general.

Chloe is very mellow and quiet, and doesn't voice her feelings. I think that's why Abbie doesn't notice her as much. Personally, I think Chloe is better than Maddie but that's just my personal opinion. Maddie is kinda self centered becasue Melissa has kind of made her that way

But does it bother anyone else that they NEVER do turns on their left?? I mean I understand their right is stronger but you have to be able to do both...
@heddie152 Well you wouldn't go to a competition and show your weaker side, obviously they would compete their better turning sides. They most likely practice left turns in a technique class, not a piece that will be competed.

she is the cutest thing ever. but i don't think the choreography wasn't good. it didn't show off her true potential!! she is amazing and the choreography was distracting me from that true potential
I feel like the choreo she was given was beneath her level. She's like a SMIDGE behind Maddie but I've watched and Chloe's choreography just doesn't suit her and is very simple, while Maddie's choreo is perfect. At least that's my opinion.
@dancaholicforever though i do agree with you to some extent, i don't think that chloe's choreography doesn't suit her. it is simple because she is more of a ballet/technical dancer whereas maddie is more well rounded otherwise; she has more intense choreography which suits her. maddie wouldn't be able to do simple choreography as well as chloe does, and vice versa with intense. whether the choreography is perfect or not is just a matter of opinion, as you said. :)

I feel like Maddie has a much better all around performance, considering facials and telling a story. Also, I believe her technique is much better. Chloe, on the other hand had a beautiful shape and form, but her technical skills seem a bit off. Chloe should be focusing more on a ballet career she seems to do that very well. She also has the perfect ballet body.
Abby Lee can get more out of these beautiful divas if she spent more time telling the girls what they need to work on rather than those stupid comparison comments. I hate Abby L:ee.
Of course they can be compared. That's what allows everyone else to have there preference and opinion. If they danced completely different styles then perhaps comparing would be a waste. They are different dancers, Maddie really lets go and Chloe is very clean. They could both learn from eachother....

They're both very different dancers and have very different performing styles. You can't just compare them like that, it's sad to see how everyone is bashing Maddie. @dancefreak1025 dance studio had yelling moms allll the time, trust me, what you see on dance moms is SO legit. Im so glad they're exposing these crazy behaviors of both the teachers favoritism& the parents attitudes. I used to have parents talk about me& look me up& down because I was new & was liked very much by the teacher. I was only 12 then!
she's got really good technical elements, especially her pirouettes , but it felt a little disjointed. there needed to be better flow and transitions.
@stjcdancer4life i agree but all your dancers you have listed have been seen on youtube many times. I think if they showed more full dances of the two of them, they would be just as popular!
im a dancer but from new zealand, so we have none of these kind of dance comps over here. Ive seen dancemoms, and i was just wondering, is this reality? is this actually what its like for all competitive dancers? do dancers like christina ricucci, dena'h gregory, hayden hopkins, mia diaz, kelsie hendrix etc all actually go though this back stage n that? i really want to know. I would hate if they had to go through this whole 'dance mom reality' thing
@russance I feel like Dance Moms is edited in a way, and cast in a way, to get as much drama for the show as possible. Are there crazy dance moms out there in the competition world? Of course! But I feel like most of them are not, and don't do things like yell at the owner of the studio. In addition, the whole "learn a whole new routine or solo/duo every week" is completely made up for the show. Most studios learn routines at the start of the year, and use them at all the competitions.

she's got really good technical elements, especially her pirouettes , but it felt a little disjointed. there needed to be better flow and transitions.

@stjcdancer4life i agree but all your dancers you have listed have been seen on youtube many times. I think if they showed more full dances of the two of them, they would be just as popular!

im a dancer but from new zealand, so we have none of these kind of dance comps over here. Ive seen dancemoms, and i was just wondering, is this reality? is this actually what its like for all competitive dancers? do dancers like christina ricucci, dena'h gregory, hayden hopkins, mia diaz, kelsie hendrix etc all actually go though this back stage n that? i really want to know. I would hate if they had to go through this whole 'dance mom reality' thing

@russance I feel like Dance Moms is edited in a way, and cast in a way, to get as much drama for the show as possible. Are there crazy dance moms out there in the competition world? Of course! But I feel like most of them are not, and don't do things like yell at the owner of the studio. In addition, the whole "learn a whole new routine or solo/duo every week" is completely made up for the show. Most studios learn routines at the start of the year, and use them at all the competitions.

I feel like Chloe is more of a ballet-oriented dancer while Maddie is lyrical. They shouldn't be compared to greatly. Besides, they're only kids!

@BeLove70 Um...I've been dancing competitively my entire life and have won many titles and awards for solo and group work. I know what the dance world is like. I'm saying that because they have different styles, we shouldn't compare them as much as we do. Get your facts straight before you act so bitter.

@PrimaBallerina123 : i have been dancing since i was 2 years old . and also won MANY AND MANY of titles , i think i know about the dance world ... all through out a dancers life you are getting compared to another dancer whether it be a tap to a jazz or a hip hop to a ballet . In the end of every competition the best dance gets the over all prize and they have to compare EVERY style of dance ... i think YOU should get your facts straight.

@PrimaBallerina123 They are both dancing lyrical..... Chloe just has cleaner technique. If that's what you mean by ballet oriented.... Perhaps she's not the actress maddie is but she is a strong dancer.
