This Friday Feb 3 2012 I got a letter from the VA saying I am dead I called the VA office in St Paul MN and also wrote them a letter This is just like that Jerry Miller who was in the news because they send him a letter that he is dead I sure hope the VA will resolve this for me ASAP I AM NOT DEAD I AM ALIVE NOT DEAD GOT IT VA?

Yes I lost the use of my left leg and limited use of my right leg. I also suffered from gulf war symptoms, almost ever single symptom. 10%? Holy sh**. They gave my step-dad 100% for virtually nothing. My dad's friend who never left CONUS gets 40% for some hearing loss supposedly due to military service which it took a doctor having to make up in order for him to get it.

I'm a 100% Iraq veteran and I'll tell you, the VA makes you grovel for everything they give you, and by the time you get it, you are homeless unless you have family. I'm on 4 years now with an appeal, but if you are sick sometimes you cant fight any more, your just to tired; if no one fights for you, you get to enjoy your disability while you live in the woods in a tent. I'm not proud of our government, and they dont represent me! Send some rich kids, then see how we get treated.

Bless you for your service ! I am fighting the VA right now for benefits and its going on 4 yrs for me, I may end up homeless but I won't quit till the bastards come through on what is documented over 40 times in my records. Love your attitude !

@raytodd66 You just hang in there and dont give up. I was so depressed I wanted to give up after the first Iraq war, but thank God my family drug me out of bed everyday and forced me to fight the VA. They want you to give up, and the problem is no one on the customer service help line knows shit, sometime they just hang up on you, loose your paper work, your records. It's our politicians that dont help us, and it's the American people that dont know what we go through.

thats the starting % for most of people, 10%, no matter how fucked up your health is. They are the biggest SOB's ever, first they give yall all them medications and encourage you to keep going to your appointments, BUT when u tell em you cant work or even study cause of your medical conditions and ask for a raise on the PENSION they tell everyone you as healthy as a rabbit. The VA is all messed up, i know cause im trying this shit with em right now.
